As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze processes, and translate complex needs into clear, actionable solutions. You’ll play a critical role in improving systems, supporting decision-making, and helping teams deliver outcomes that matter. As a Business Systems Analyst at GDIT, your work will help bridge business needs and technology solutions that support mission-critical outcomes for USPS. You will: - Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives. - Gather and analyze requirements. - Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable solutions. - Support process improvement and system optimization. - Ensure business priorities are aligned with technical execution. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited College/University is required. - If the candidate does not possess a relevant four-year degree, an additional four years of relevant work experience will be required. - 6+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience. - Minimum 6 years’ experience in IT. Requirements - Strong experience with systems supporting business functions related to Warehouse Management and Inventory Management. - Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices. - Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum management tools such as VersionOne. - Familiarity with Incident and Change Management tools such as ServiceNow. - Ability to write a test plan covering multiple inter-related objects in a dynamic test environment. - Ability to write test scripts fully covering specific objects and executing those test scripts within a larger test plan. - Ability to coordinate individual test script execution within a medium to large team. - Use of Office Applications to document and communicate work efforts and test results including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio. - Strong testing experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports. - Strong SQL skills for validating data, building test scenarios, and supporting defect analysis. - Familiarity with Apache Kafka—understanding of message flows, schemas, and how data moves between systems. - Experience validating API behavior, request/response structures, and integration rules. - Strong Project Analyst Skills. - Strong analytical skills in resolving issues and problem solving. - Strong organizational skills. - Strong time management skills. - Strong oral, written and communication skills. - Knowledge of Project Life Cycle. - Ability to interact with teams and senior management. - Team leader or supervisor experience. - Ability to write and execute test scripts. - Ability to write and execute test plans. - Experience in application, functional and performance testing. - Working knowledge of one or more of the following qualifications: DevSecOps, Agile Scrum, VersionOne or equivalent Agile project management software, Knowledge of and experience with SDLC / TSLC practices.
