Cyber Systems Engineer – Clearance Required

• Support Army logistics enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, business architecture, and systems engineering initiatives. • Conduct research and analysis to evaluate enterprise systems, business processes, technical architectures, and organizational performance. • Analyze business and technical requirements to support enterprise architecture, modernization, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. • Develop executive-ready briefings, reports, decision papers, presentations, and architectural recommendations supporting Army logistics leadership. • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise architecture frameworks, business processes, governance activities, and technical standards. • Coordinate activities and recommendations across multiple Army organizations, functional stakeholders, and technical teams. • Evaluate current and future state business processes, enterprise capabilities, and technology solutions to identify opportunities for improvement. • Support cybersecurity activities, system compliance, risk management, and security authorization efforts, as required. • Facilitate architecture reviews, technical working groups, business process improvement sessions, and stakeholder engagements while documenting decisions and tracking follow-up actions. • Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical products to support leadership visibility, enterprise decision making, and organizational effectiveness. • Support enterprise modernization, systems integration, business process reengineering, data management, and technology implementation initiatives. • Support business development activities, including market research, proposal support, solution development, and client engagement, as required. • Perform additional consulting, analytical, technical, and project support activities as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business, Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- 3-10+ years of professional experience supporting Army logistics, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, systems engineering, business architecture, or other complex Government organizations.
- Experience supporting enterprise architecture, systems engineering, cybersecurity, business process analysis, or technology modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, systems integration, business process improvement, and information technology governance.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using architecture, modeling, collaboration, or project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize technical and business information into concise, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Self-directed, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Available for occasional travel.
- This position requires an active Secret security clearance.

Principal Engineer, Heat Transport System

Role Description We are seeking an experienced Principal or Distinguished Engineer to lead the technical deployment of KP-FHR heat transport system equipment, including integration of commercial molten salt steam generators, salt pumps, valves, and associated equipment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering Integration, you will develop technical design solutions to enable the rapid deployment and integration of KP-FHR Power Generation Systems (PGS) Structures, Systems and Components (SSCs). This role requires a leader with extensive experience in thermal systems and power conversion technologies to ensure efficient, safe and reliable operation of the plant's energy conversion processes. Responsibilities - Design and deploy the Nuclear Heat Recovery Steam Generator (NHRSG), focusing on molten salt steam generators, salt pumps, valves, and related auxiliary systems that meet Kairos Power’s FHR deployment objectives. - Lead design trades, performance analyses and optimization of the NHRSG to meet commercial and regulatory needs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the NHRSG with overall plant design and operations. - Manage and coordinate external partners, suppliers, regulators and vendors in the area of power generation. - Oversee the preparation of technical specifications, design documents and system drawings for all NHRSG components. - Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments related to commercial molten salt technologies and subsystems. - Support building a small engineering team including mentoring, guiding and promoting professional growth and innovation in molten salt system solutions. - Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical concepts and strategies. - Support commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of the NHRSG during the plant's startup phase. - Stay abreast of industry advancements, best practices and emerging molten salt technologies. - Lead or support formal design reviews, interface reviews, hazard reviews, and technical readiness reviews for NHRSG components and subsystems. - Support supplier technical oversight, including review of supplier deliverables, technical deviations, test plans, and component qualification evidence. - Develop or maintain system requirements, interface control documents, design bases, and verification/validation plans for NHRSG components. - Other duties as assigned.
