Speech Language Pathologist, SLP
E-Therapy
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities. • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs. • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings. • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development. • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes. • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner. • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
Job Requirements
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- LA Teacher's Certificate
- Passionate about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Louisiana SLP Department of Education Certification
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred)
- Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology used in speech-language therapy (preferred)

Qualifications - Board certification in clinical pathology - American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP) preferred. - Applications from pathologists with local boards (e.g. FTA für Klinische Laboratoriumsdiagnostik) and board eligible pathologists are also encouraged. - Fluent in German and English. - Familiar with current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine. - Able to type and use dictation equipment. - Excellent verbal and communication skills. - Service-oriented attitude. - Able to organize and prioritize work. - Computer skills are required. - Experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory is preferred.
