Role Description We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SAT Tutors who are passionate about making a positive impact in students’ academic journeys. As an SAT Tutor with Learner Education, you will guide students through Digital SAT preparation while enjoying the flexibility of remote work and a schedule that fits your availability. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required - Minimum 3 years of professional tutoring or teaching experience - Must have taught or tutored within the past 2 years - At least 1 year of online tutoring or teaching experience - Direct experience with the Digital SAT - Must have tutored or taught at least 25 test prep students - Ability to tutor all sections of the SAT - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Tutors with availability during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET) can connect with more students. Broader weekday and weekend availability is a plus - Fast and reliable internet connection - Computer or laptop and headphones - Quiet and professional environment Requirements - SAT tutors have the opportunity to earn $35 per hour for SAT prep sessions and $25 per hour for academic tutoring. - Tutors who are able to support academic subjects alongside test prep often see the most consistent scheduling, especially during slower SAT seasons, making this a great way to maintain steady hours. You will collaborate closely with the firm's principals/owners, estimators, assistant estimators, and support staff. Additionally, you will work directly with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes. - Overseeing the entire lifecycle of the estimating process for assigned projects while interacting with clients to ensure their needs are met. - Working closely with the company's principals, owners, estimators, assistant estimators, and support staff, as well as external parties like subcontractors and vendors. - Providing detailed and accurate project estimates, analyzing project costs, and reviewing them with clients to ensure transparency. - Taking responsibility for all aspects of the estimating process, from initial estimation to project completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness. - Experience and knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and labor costs to create precise and comprehensive estimates. - Weekly check-ins to discuss upcoming projects/assignments. - Compiling and editing estimates, reviewing takeoff completed by others, and pricing of estimates. Some takeoff may be required depending on project. - Perform peer reviews of estimates completed by others. - Participation in assigned project meetings as required by the project/team including but not limited to design review meetings, reconciliation meetings, estimate presentation meetings. - Solicit subcontractor/vendor pricing as required (limited). - Client communication and management on assigned projects. - Training and mentoring of assistant estimators and entry-level employees as required. - Participation in marketing efforts as it pertains to projects you may be proposed on (review of resumes, technical approach, etc. compiled for response to RFP/Q). • Assist with podcast, video, and social media production across The Dispatch’s multimedia team. • Support the development and distribution of podcast and social video content, including clipping, asset gathering, writing metadata, and publishing support. • Help identify strong moments from podcasts, interviews, and live events for use in social video and YouTube. • Help record podcast audio and video in Riverside and edit in Premiere. • Provide general editorial and multimedia support to producers, editors, and other members of The Dispatch team.
