Role Description As a Clinical Nutrition Technician at Imagine Pediatrics, you will be an integral member of the nutrition care team, working collaboratively alongside Registered Dietitians (RDs) to support our mission of increasing safe days at home for pediatric patients with chronic medical, feeding, or behavioral health concerns. The Clinical Nutrition Technician will help to gather key nutrition information, aid in nutrition visit preparation, assist with caregiver communication, and help ensure efficient workflow. All work is completed under the supervision of an RD. - Conduct pre-visits with caregivers to obtain dietary recalls, food preferences/dislikes, texture aversions, eating habits, and daily meal schedules to support the RD’s assessment. - Assist RDs with creating individualized meal plans, snack ideas, recipes, and nutrition handouts using available tools and submit all materials for RD review and approval. - Prepare charts by entering growth data, z-scores, and vital signs to ensure RD visits begin with complete and accurate patient information. - Collect, document, and log calorie counts submitted by caregivers to support nutritional monitoring. - Assist with nutrition scheduling, including rescheduling appointments, helping caregivers find appropriate appointment types, and coordinating with the scheduling team to optimize clinic availability. - Answer and triage messages from patients and caregivers related to nutrition needs, escalating messages to RDs as appropriate. - Help search and review external medical records notes prior to RD appointments to support efficient visit preparation. - Assist with or complete care coordination visits as directed by the RD or providers. - Help with obtaining formula, supplements, or nutrition-related samples to be mailed to patient homes as requested by the RD. - Attend daily huddles and collaborate with the care team to support coordinated nutrition care. - Support smooth, patient-centered workflow by maintaining organization, ensuring timely documentation, and communicating clearly with caregivers and the multidisciplinary team. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Associate's degree in nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Science required - Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required - State licensure as a DTR where applicable, required - 2+ years of experience post-graduation - Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred - Pediatric patient care, strongly preferred - Virtual care experience a plus Benefits - The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22 - 30 per hour in addition to competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable). - Full medical, dental, and vision insurance - Healthcare and Dependent Care FSA - 401(k) with 4% match, vested 100% from day one - 20 days PTO + 10 Company Holidays & 2 Floating Holidays - Employee Stock Purchase Program - 1st year Anniversary Bonus - Paid parental leave - Additional benefits to be detailed in offer
