• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for our distributed systems and microservices, utilizing asynchronous communication patterns for optimal performance. Contribute to the design and implementation of highly scalable architectures, prioritizing reliability, performance, and future-proof growth. • Collaborate in defining and monitoring key Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to ensure our systems deliver exceptional user experiences. • Learn and grow with your colleagues, actively participating in code reviews, knowledge-sharing initiatives. • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between technical vision and business goals. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Lead a small engineering team to deliver roadmap features predictably while balancing quality, velocity, technical risk, and business needs • Be accountable for the delivery of features owned by direct reports, ensuring work is well-scoped, estimated, sequenced, implemented, tested, merged, and released effectively • Own technical estimates produced by the team, ensuring estimates are realistic, account for dependencies and risks, and support reliable roadmap planning • Partner closely with product managers, producers, QA, design, art, and other stakeholders to align feature execution with business goals, player experience expectations, and technical constraints • Monitor game performance, live stability, crash rates, FPS, and post-release regressions; identify risks, escalate when needed, and drive action plans with the team • Set and enforce standards for code quality, maintainability, implementation, and review across the team • Mentor engineers on technical execution, code quality, player experience, Roblox/game platform constraints, and engineering judgment • Proactively improve game and feature quality by identifying opportunities to improve responsiveness, polish, stability, performance, and overall player experience • Collaborate with the manager and senior engineers to define technical initiatives, roadmap risks, operational improvements, and technical priorities for the game • Support people leadership responsibilities, including onboarding, structured feedback, performance documentation, growth planning, and identifying gaps against the levelling framework

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, high-performance web applications using Node.js and React. • Collaborate directly with Product and Design teams to turn ideas and prototypes into production-ready features. • Ensure code quality through development best practices (Clean Code, automated testing, code reviews). • Optimize existing architecture to support user growth and ensure high availability. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and complex bugs in production environments.
