Role Description Mindera is looking for a talented SFCC (Frontend Engineer) to build, optimize, and maintain the user interface of our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) applications. You will collaborate closely with designers and product teams to create intuitive and engaging shopping experiences for our clients. - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable frontend solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) using modern frontend technologies and best practices. - Drive frontend architecture decisions, ensuring high performance, maintainability, scalability, and responsiveness across eCommerce applications. - Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless customer experiences. - Design and integrate RESTful APIs while ensuring efficient data flow across the platform. - Conduct code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor junior and senior engineers to foster technical excellence. - Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and production issues. - Champion engineering standards, coding guidelines, testing strategies, and CI/CD best practices. - Contribute to technical roadmap planning, solution design, estimation, and sprint planning. - Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, SFCC capabilities, and eCommerce trends, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications - 7–15+ years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in frontend development and eCommerce platforms. - Hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), including SFRA architecture and storefront customization. - Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React. - Experience building scalable, responsive, and high-performing web applications. - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, frontend integration patterns, and headless commerce concepts. - Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows. - Good understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional global teams. - Proven ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and influence architectural decisions. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications - Abgeschlossene Ausbildung im IT-Bereich mit 3–5 Jahren Berufserfahrung, ein abgeschlossenes Studium (z. B. Informatik) oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation. - Fundierte Erfahrung in der modernen Webentwicklung (Frontend und/oder Backend). - Nachweisbare Erfahrung im produktiven Einsatz von KI-Agenten und LLM-Tools in der Softwareentwicklung – das ist für diese Rolle zentral. - Sicheres Gespür dafür, KI-generierten Code kritisch zu bewerten, zu testen und zu verbessern. - Selbstständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise – wichtig für die Arbeit im Remote-Team. - Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (unsere Team- und Unternehmenssprache ist Deutsch).
