• Provide strategic input to guide creation of clinically relevant educational content and ensure effective use of clinical data to reach strategic brand objectives • Independent scientific content development including analysis and interpretation of clinical data across a wide range of project types • Conduct literature searches, proactively monitor competitive landscape and perform competitive analyses • Establish strong relationships with clients and proactively seek to contribute and collaborate in client meetings • Partner with internal teams to create compelling peer-to-peer educational content and engagement projects for healthcare professionals, including slide decks, KOL video, digital and print media • Establish close partnership with copy, art and digital teams to create interactive, engaging programs utilizing scientific storytelling techniques and unique data visualization • Collaborate to create and communicate Intouch’s POV and recommendations with clients • Play key role on team to educate team members on disease state, clinical trials, treatments and competition • Support submissions for client medical/regulatory approval processes and partners with all teams to incorporate client and regulatory feedback • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. • All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD or PharmD) in medical sciences related field required
- Preferably two or more years of agency experience in medical education, medical communications and/or HCP marketing
- Strategic thinker that understands how to effectively tell a scientific story in a compelling way to differentiate client products
- Two years minimum medical writing experience required
- Experience creating branded or unbranded peer-to-peer educational content
- Expertise in extracting relevant information from clinical sources and writing medically accurate copy
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
- Client-facing confidence that advances dialogue and creates strong agency-client relationships
- Experience with complex projects that require collaboration between internal and external teams including key opinion leaders
- Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations, AMA editorial style and digital

• Lead and execute early/late stage clinical trials for oncology products in development • Participate in the design/planning of clinical studies and help with the interpretation of study results • Establish and approve scientific methods for design and implementation of clinical protocols, data collection systems and final reports • May recruit clinical investigators for research studies • Monitor adherence to protocols and determine study completion
