Qualifications - 3+ years of software development experience. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. - Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) experience preferred. - Git code management skills with experience working in a mono repository preferred. - Strong Python (Flask/SQLAlchemy) and TypeScript (React) experience. - Experience with PostgreSQL database knowledge, e.g. common table expressions, windowing functions, views, stored procedures, full-text or geospatial indexing techniques. - Proficiency targeting infrastructure as code with a security mindset (AWS, Terraform). - Participation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). - A history of delivering complex web applications to the cloud. - Strong knowledge of unit testing across multiple paradigms. - Experience working with microservices/an API-based application paradigm. Requirements - Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and improve existing functionality. - Write and test high-quality code based on design specifications and product requirements with minimal support from team and senior engineers on the team. - Participate in planning and design discussions with product managers and designers. - Write clean, maintainable code using technologies like Python, React, and AWS. - Conduct testing and debugging software to ensure high quality. - Become a subject matter expert on your team’s products. - Work in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.
