Job Description
Senior Product Manager – Platform, Policy, Approval, Inbox
Climb Channel Solutions NA
• Develop and communicate a compelling vision and strategy for the platform's shared services — policy, workflow (including the approval service), inbox, and notifications — aligning it with overall company goals. • Collaborate with customers as well as external and internal stakeholders to understand end-user needs and validate product requirements for policy authoring, approval workflows, and notification experiences. • Collaborate with internal business unit product teams: gather their requirements, understand their roadmaps, and design shared services that are easy to adopt, extend, and build upon. • Drive the development of a robust, flexible policy framework that enables consistent, auditable policy definition and enforcement across the platform. • Own the workflow and approval service roadmap, delivering orchestration capabilities that support complex, multi-step approval chains, delegation, escalation, and audit requirements. • Define and evolve the platform inbox and notification services to deliver timely, actionable, and well-governed communications across channels, with sensible defaults and user-level control. • Champion API-first, self-service design, and establish adoption metrics to measure success. • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies — including policy-as-code, workflow orchestration patterns, and event-driven architectures — to inform the product roadmap. • Work closely with engineering, design, architecture, and other cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver features.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or similar preferred.
- 5+ years of proven experience in product management, with a focus on platform services, shared/foundational capabilities, or related areas.
- Solid understanding of platform product management principles: multi-tenancy, API-first design.
- Experience with one or more of the shared-service domains primarily policy engines, policy-as-code and workflow orchestration systems.
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and audit requirements for enterprise workflows and approvals (e.g., separation of duties, audit trails).
- Track record of successfully bringing platform capabilities to market and driving their adoption across multiple product teams.
- Working knowledge of public cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and event-driven, microservices-based architectures.
- Experience in identity security, PAM, or broader cybersecurity space is a huge plus.
- Pragmatic Marketing/Scrum Product Owner certifications are a plus.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, and a curious attitude with a desire to collaborate with a team of first-rate engineers, designers, and other Product Managers.
