Business Analyst II – Recovery Platform Operations

• Perform various analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for assigned function • Partner with IT, program managers, SMEs, and recovery vendors to translate operational needs into system enhancements, develop business requirements, manage issue resolution, and ensure timely support of recovery operations • Monitor recovery operations, inventory, and reporting tools to identify issues and savings opportunities, while leading defect investigation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation of quality solutions to improve accuracy and performance • Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of new systems • Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes • Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation • Identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes • Develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications • Lead problem solving and coordination efforts between various business units • Assist with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of business process or data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare
- Project management experience preferred
- Experience with Agile/Scrum a plus
- Intermediate Excel experience highly preferred

Role Description The Office of the University Registrar is seeking a Business Analyst for Catalog, Calendar, and Scheduling who will report to the Associate University Registrar for Academic Catalogue, Academic Calendar, and Classroom Management and Scheduling. This position serves as the supplemental interface between the Office of the University Registrar business area, divisional registrar offices, University technology team, and contracted services, assisting in the functional areas of catalogue, academic calendar, academic and event scheduling, and classroom management. - Lead catalogue communication with editors across all divisions. - Collaborate with the divisional registrar offices to maintain a list of page owners, editors, and approvers. - Update roles and authenticate users as needed. - Assist with maintenance and updates of catalogue software. - Create documentation and conduct training on catalogue software for end-users. - Ensure data integrity and monitor entry, analysis, and report generation for adherence to established policies, procedures, and deadlines. - Partner with divisions to ensure catalogue data is accurately reflected across all systems. - Coordinate and execute program records maintenance throughout various systems. - Suggest enhancements in catalogue processes. - Lead projects where applicable.
