Role Description We're looking for a Video Lead who can redefine how a modern technology company creates video. You'll own video strategy, production, and execution while leading a small team that delivers everything from product explainers and customer stories to executive thought leadership and social content. Success in this role is about creating engaging, high-impact content quickly and efficiently for technical audiences. What You'll Do - Lead our video strategy and oversee end-to-end production. - Manage an internal team of a video editor and motion graphics animator, with external vendors for scale as needed. - Produce scalable video content ranging from polished launches to fast-turn social (LinkedIn, X, YouTube) and remote recordings. - Serve as producer, creative lead, and hands-on editor when needed. - Develop repeatable production workflows that improve speed, quality, and efficiency. - Review and provide feedback on all videos to ensure they meet Elastic’s standards for quality, accuracy, and brand consistency. - Partner with stakeholders to tell compelling stories that simplify complex technology. - Explore new formats and AI-powered tools to modernize our video program. - Some travel will be required, globally.
