As a Workforce Pathways Professional, you will: - Contribute to projects across public health programs, local health jurisdictions, community-based organizations, and state government. - Engage in project coordination, community engagement, outreach and communications, data collection and reporting, policy improvement, evaluation activities, technical assistance, and cross-sector collaboration. - Help shape innovative public health initiatives and strengthen the health and well-being of communities across Washington State. As a Health Services Consultant within the Communicable Disease Programs, you will: - Lead projects that strengthen infectious disease prevention and improve outreach. - Coordinate statewide guidance for K-12 schools and expand outreach to rural healthcare facilities and dental providers. - Manage complex projects from planning through implementation. - Develop practical tools and resources to improve access to evidence-based public health information. Key Responsibilities Include: - Lead the statewide review, coordination, and publication of the Infectious Disease Control Guide for K-12 School Staff. - Facilitate collaboration with subject matter experts, local health jurisdictions, educational partners, and other stakeholders. - Develop outreach strategies for Infection Control Assessment and Response (ICAR) consultative visits. - Coordinate infection prevention outreach activities and maintain ICAR data. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously and develop sustainable processes for program improvements. - Develop reports, presentations, recommendations, and training materials. - Contribute to communicable disease surveillance and emergency public health activities as needed. Qualifications - Three (3) years of experience in public health, health services, community outreach, or a similar setting. - Bachelor’s degree in public health, community health, nursing, health care administration, social work, health communications, public administration, business administration, or a related field AND one (1) year of experience in public health, health services, community outreach, or community engagement. Role Description Durée du contrat: 2.8 mois Modalité de travail: Télétravail + mission Sous la supervision de la Cheffe Section éducation et en coordination avec la cheffe section protection de l’enfant, le/la consultant(e) national(e) collaborera avec les partenaires gouvernementaux et ONG concernés pour : - Effectuer une analyse des contenus d’animation d’EAE existants et les consolider; - Proposer, sur la base des standards en santé mentale et appui psychosocial (MHPSS) et de l’existant, les options de contenus d'animation des EAE prenant en compte les thématiques liées au MHPSS, droits de l’enfant, à la protection l’enfant, au climat, à la santé et la nutrition y compris les routines éducatives; - Elaborer un guide pratique intégré d’animation des espaces amis des enfants adapté aux réalités locales et avec des activités structurées par groupe d’âge; - Elaborer les outils de collecte des données sur la fréquentation et les activités des EAE; - Développer des outils (y inclus une boite à image, des capsules vidéo et une liste de matériels faciles, attractifs er traduits si possible dans les principales langues locales et accessibles aux personnes handicapées) et plan de formation des animateurs volontaires sur le guide intégré élaboré; - Organiser des focus groupes et entretiens pour recueillir les avis des utilisateurs y compris les enfants et les jeunes sur la compréhension des outils et finaliser; - Effectuer l’assurance qualité de la production. Qualifications - Formation académique: Sciences sociales, science de l’éducation, sociologie, genre et développement, ou tout autre domaine pertinent. - Être au moins titulaire d’un Diplôme universitaire de niveau Master (Bac+5) ou équivalent. - Au moins 5 années d’expériences pertinentes dans la conception et/ou la mise en oeuvre de programmes sociaux, d’assistance sociale particulièrement ceux liés à l'éducation et à la protection de l’enfance y compris les thématiques liées au changement climatique, à la santé et nutrition.
