Metabase
• Own core accounting and audit • Manage tax, payments, and expense management • Own external auditor relationship • Investigate and resolve discrepancies • Coordinate information requests internally • Manage external tax accountants • Run payment cycle • Own corporate card / expense system
Job Requirements
- Seasoned accountant with an active CPA
- Expertise with US GAAP
- SaaS revenue recognition
- Stock based compensation
- Multi-entity / international accounting
- Owned full-cycle month end close / quarter end close processes
- Managed audits end-to-end
- Prior experience in a startup and / or big 4 audit a plus
- Undergraduate qualification in accounting, finance, or a rigorous quantitative field
- Strong investigative skills
- High bar for accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Low ego attitude
- Based in the US
