Role Description Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Virtual Care Registered Nurse (RN). The Virtual Care RN provides professional nursing care and clinical support for assigned patients through virtual and remote care platforms. - Accountable for performing patient assessments, care coordination, patient education, clinical documentation, and ongoing patient monitoring while utilizing multiple healthcare technology systems, including the electronic medical record (EMR). - Establishes collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to promote quality outcomes, patient safety, and continuity of care. - Adheres to organizational policies, professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and privacy guidelines to ensure safe, compliant, and patient-centered care in a virtual environment. Qualifications - Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing, must be compact license. - BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. - Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing. Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). Franklin Pierce University seeks a collaborative faculty member who specializes in outpatient neurological care and management of vestibular conditions. Reporting to the Director of the DPT Program, the DPT Faculty member will play a key role in shaping the next generation of physical therapists.
