Role Description We are seeking a Senior Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Consultant to support enterprise-scale automation initiatives, including the deployment, migration, and optimization of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform environments. This position requires the ability to work UK business hours. Candidates should either be located within the EMEA region or be able to align with standard British Standard Time (BST) working hours. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AAP architecture, AWX-to-AAP migrations, and enterprise automation best practices. This role will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver successful implementations, provide technical guidance, and support project execution from design through deployment. - Design and implement Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) solutions within enterprise environments, including highly available and disaster recovery architectures. - Lead AWX to AAP migrations, including the assessment, migration, and validation of existing Ansible automation assets. - Perform enterprise AAP deployments following architectural designs and automation best practices. - Support technical project delivery by contributing to project timelines, documentation, and implementation plans. - Collaborate with customers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and align technical solutions with business objectives. - Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout the implementation lifecycle. - Develop and maintain technical documentation related to architecture, deployment, migration, and operational processes. Qualifications - Expert-level experience deploying Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) in enterprise topology configurations, including high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) designs. - Hands-on experience migrating Ansible automation content between AWX and/or AAP environments. - Experience with aap-bridge or similar Ansible migration tooling is highly preferred. - Intermediate or higher proficiency with Python programming for automation and scripting. - Experience delivering enterprise technology implementations as part of a project team. - Ability to collaborate on technical designs, project schedules, documentation, and implementation plans. - Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations around scope, timelines, and technical outcomes. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Red Hat consulting engagements or enterprise automation transformations. - Strong understanding of Ansible automation concepts, playbooks, inventories, roles, collections, and automation workflows. - Experience supporting customers through automation platform adoption and modernization initiatives.
