Role Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Special Hazards Designer located in any of our offices or remote work. - Oversee project design progression from inception to completion including design, permits, as-builts, and operations and maintenance manuals. - Develop a comprehensive design plan to meet schedules and budgets. - Participate in team and on-site progress meetings. - Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications. - Ensure AHJ requirements and procedures are followed. - Multi-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines. - Excel in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Qualifications - 5-7 years of experience in the design of special hazard suppression and pre-engineered systems. - Previous experience working in AutoCAD or Revit is required. - Knowledge of low voltage wiring and special hazard fire suppression systems. - Commitment to providing exceptional customer service. - Maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge. - Ability to pre-plan and execute tasks with great detail. - NICET Certification preferred. Requirements - Strong organization and communication skills. - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
