Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer
iQuasar LLC
• Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large enterprise virtual desktop (VDI) environment • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for troubleshooting complex performance issues • Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues • Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability • Act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies • Maintain an advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies • Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions
Job Requirements
- Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD)
- Master’s degree + 7 years experience OR 16 years experience
- Experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Storage and Virtual Desktops
- Experience managing and administering Windows Servers
- Experience with Azure AD, Intune, FSLogix
- Experience in VDI profile management
- Endpoint protection, policy management and application of STIGs
- AVD integration with Office 365 services
- Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services
- Collaborate and work well in a team environment
