• Engage with customers to design and develop solutions that deliver value and innovation to their business • Work with customers to innovate, architect, and design the correct solution to their specific challenges • Know how to implement the traditional technologies of PLC and SCADA but are open to leveraging the power of Industry 4.0 • Develop, test, and deploy these applications independently and with a team • Develop operator interface solutions for HMI or other applications that streamline equipment operations • Develop control logic in a PLC or other control platforms for a wide variety of industries and processes
Job Requirements
- Must have prior AVEVA / Wonderware experience
- Allen Bradley PLC experience is desired.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others on multiple projects
- Experience programming a range of PLC and SCADA systems.
- Wonderware experience is required.
- Comfortable talking to engineers, IT, and operations and can bridge the gap between them.

• Perform preliminary design of water treatment plants based on membrane projections and other accepted calculations in accordance with established criteria; • Collaborate closely with sales managers and engineering discipline teams; • Prepare budget, preliminary and final (bid) cost estimates including bill of materials, equipment, and controls; • Prepare formal proposals for submittal to potential clients; • Develop drawings of equipment and plant playouts as requested and oversee designers; • Create process drawings such as P&IDs and PFDs; • Select equipment (pumps, valves, membranes, etc.); • Develop and present technical presentations/papers on in-house projects to promote Company and water technologies at conferences and clients meetings; • Continuous investigation into improving design of current equipment and treatment processes, and development or acquisition of new equipment or processes to complement existing portfolio; • Prepare engineering documents such as functional descriptions, process control narratives, etc.; • Maintain an excellent working knowledge of state, provincial and federal regulations, as well as current design processes; • Maintain contact with current installations to obtain performance, operation and maintenance data and provide operational assistance as requested; • Maintain records of actual costs and provide comparison and analysis of discrepancies between estimated and actual costs; • Advance the development of standard treatment packages for UF and NF/RO systems; • Travel to project sites and perform treatment process audits; • Other duties as assigned.
• As our newly appointed Combustion Engineer - End User Support you will be our fired equipment specialist/engineer for customers in the region, providing combustion solutions for furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, incinerators, or other fired equipment and ancillary technologies. • You will apply problem-solving skills across multiple markets, customers, and equipment, travelling to different facilities, diagnosing equipment issues. • You will upgrade technologies to satisfy environmental initiatives and solve combustion problems predominately for refining and petrochemical end users with the support of a global team.
• Lead the design, installation and start-up of plant construction or process equipment projects for Feed Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations • Focus on packaging equipment • Develop project and process design, capital and expense estimates • Contractor selection • Equipment specifications and purchases • Implementation timeline coordination • Provide recommended methods and standard operating practices to optimize processes and meet product specifications • Prepare process designs and equipment specifications • Track equipment condition and provide long-term projections for repairs/replacements • Work closely with Feed Engineering Manager and Plant Managers on capital approval and implementation steps • Ensure expected improvements are obtained from capital investments • Conduct process evaluations in the forms of process system audits and in-plant testing • Evaluate process variables and provide recommendations for processing and energy efficiency improvements • Implementation of process improvements and validations of improvements
