Director of Lifecycle Marketing
GoingScott’s Cheap Flights is now Going. Meet the travel membership that saves you hundreds on flights.
About the role As Going's Director, Lifecycle Marketing, you will own the strategy, execution, and performance of the member lifecycle for our 2M+ monthly active members across email, push, in-app, and web — from onboarding through winback. You will set the roadmap, own the lifecycle calendar, build the reporting that tracks our impact, and lead and develop the lifecycle team. This is a semi-technical leadership role: you'll be the senior owner of our Braze CRM and the go-to partner for Product, Engineering, and Data & Insights, while pushing the program toward AI-enhanced efficiency and automation at scale. Why we're hiring for this role now: As the world's favorite cheap flight alert platform, we're constantly looking for ways to improve our members' experience. By hiring a Director, Lifecycle Marketing we will significantly improve our members' experience from the moment they sign up and throughout their years of membership. You will report to the VP, Marketing. In the short term, you will - Develop a deep understanding of Going's Braze integration, lifecycle program, and marketing tech stack, identifying the highest-impact opportunities to improve member experience and business results. - Take ownership of the lifecycle calendar and campaign workflows, establishing clear intake, prioritization, QA, and conflict-free scheduling. - Build a consolidated view of lifecycle performance and establish a reporting cadence with leadership. - Get to know your team — their goals, strengths, and development areas — and establish your management rhythm (1:1s, rituals, priorities). - Publish a prioritized lifecycle roadmap and experimentation plan. In the long term, you will - Own the strategy, enhancement, and execution of the full lifecycle program. Including scaling personalized, omni-channel communications across email, push, in-app, and web that support the Going mobile app, website, and new-to-market product value. - Own performance and reporting end-to-end (onboarding through winback), continually improving key metrics like activation, adoption, engagement, retention, and LTV, and owning the dashboards that track and socialize results. - Apply AI to all relevant automated journeys to increase program performance and team efficiency. - Translate business goals into delivery requirements — data, segmentation, targeting logic, and dynamic content — partnering closely with Data, Product, and Engineering teams on technical projects. - Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing lifecycle team that approaches problem-solving with a member-first mindset and a strong testing culture. What you know Required: - 8+ years in lifecycle/CRM/retention marketing for B2C brands (ideally a consumer app or subscription business), with 3+ years leading and developing people. - Proven ownership of an end-to-end lifecycle program across multiple channels (email, push, in-app, web), including calendar ownership and program governance. - Deep, hands-on expertise in Braze (or a comparable enterprise CRM) — Canvas, segmentation, behavioral triggers, and personalization/Liquid logic. - Strong analytical skills: cohort analysis, LTV modeling, A/B testing, and retention/funnel reporting. Comfortable building and socializing dashboards. SQL experience or willingness to learn. - Hands-on experience applying AI to lifecycle marketing — e.g., AI-driven personalization, send-time optimization, predictive segmentation, dynamic content, and automation — with the judgment to evaluate AI outputs against brand and quality standards and awareness of data privacy/governance. - Track record of partnering with Data, Product, and Engineering to ship technical projects; able to translate fluently between technical and non-technical stakeholders. - A strong copywriter who can write clear, on-brand, high-converting copy across email, push, in-app, and web. You're not a designer, but you write well, give sharp and constructive creative critique, and raise the quality bar across the team. - Proven campaign development chops — you can take a campaign from concept and brief through messaging, creative direction, and execution, and you partner effectively with designers (strong briefs, balancing brand voice with performance). - Outstanding project management and organization; a self-starter who balances multiple priorities and follows through. - Goal-oriented, with a track record of setting and achieving long-term performance metrics. Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, wearing multiple hats and working on a breadth of projects. - You're legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work US-hours. Preferred: - Experience at a consumer subscription or membership business; experience scaling lifecycle for a mobile app. - Experience building toward an AI-native or highly automated lifecycle system. - Familiarity with CDPs, deliverability, and the broader lifecycle/orchestration tech stack. Benefits & Perks you'll love… - The salary for this role starts at $175,000 + equity - 100% remote work environment - Annual team retreats, with past destinations including Scottsdale, Washington D.C., Vancouver, and Mexico City. - Open vacation policy, with a 15-day minimum - Comprehensive health, vision, dental, and life insurance - 401(k) with a 5% match - $750/quarter remote work, wellness, and wisdom stipend - Up to 12 weeks of paid family leave - Meetup stipend when you cross paths with a co-worker - Continuing education & development reimbursement - Challenging problems to solve and an awesome team to collaborate with every single day
Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager
Fresh PrintsAmerica's fastest growing collegiate custom apparel company six years in a row.
• Owning every word that goes out — subject lines, body, CTAs — across email and SMS • Turning a solid technical setup into a channel people actually look forward to hearing from • Building lifecycle flows that feel like a conversation, not a drip someone got trapped in • Writing for a college-age audience in a voice that feels made for them, not blasted at them • Bringing a real point of view on performance — not just reading the numbers, but knowing what they're telling you to do next • Own email and SMS conceptualization — final say on subject lines, preview text, headers, body, and CTAs across all of Fresh Prints' major marketing moments • Work with our brand and creative teams on design and copy so every send feels on-brand • Develop a campaign content calendar that ladders into the broader marketing calendar, so email and SMS amplify the right message at the right time • Own A/B testing for subject lines, content approaches, and CTAs — with the discipline to learn from the results and apply them • Write messages that resonate with a college-age audience: content that feels like it's actually written for them, not generic marketing • Own the strategy and content for Fresh Prints' lifecycle flows: welcome series for new subscribers, post-purchase nurture, cart and browse abandonment, re-engagement, and win-back — across email and SMS • Audit the existing lifecycle program, identify gaps, underperforming flows, and moments in the customer journey where we're leaving engagement on the table • Own segmentation: define the audiences and journey logic that decide who gets what, when • Write and test improved lifecycle content, and build flows that feel like a conversation with the customer, not a sequence they got dropped into for checking a box • Monitor deliverability and engagement metrics — open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribe rates, spam complaints, bounce rates — and maintain a healthy sender reputation • Follow email and SMS deliverability best practices: list hygiene, warm-up protocols, segmentation for engaged vs. unengaged audiences, suppression management, and compliance • Report on performance on a regular cadence — what's working, what isn't, and what you're changing based on the data • Bring a point of view: not just 'open rate was 28%,' but 'here's what that tells us about the subject-line approach, and here's what I'm testing next'
Senior Creative Director, Marketing
BankrateWith five decades of trust and market leadership, Bankrate is transforming into an AI-powered fintech platform that puts consumers in control—connecting them to the best financial products to save more, earn more, and get ahead faster.
*This role is open to remote or hybrid candidates (East Coast preference), with hybrid being central to our New York, NY or Charlotte area offices. This is a new role and the founding seat of Bankrate’s Marketing Creative pod — but it’s not a traditional creative director seat. We’re looking for an AI-native creative leader who pairs sharp creative judgment with deep AI fluency to drive revenue and elevate the brand through creative produced and tested at scale, across every channel. You’ll set the standard for what “good” looks like — visually and verbally — and then build the AI tooling and workflows that let Bankrate hit that standard at a volume and velocity a conventional team can’t match — not by replacing judgment with automation, but by multiplying what one strong creative point of view can do. One idea becomes dozens of channel-native variants; those variants go live, get tested, and let performance data decide which of your on-brand ideas wins. You’ll own the full arc: the judgment that makes the work worth shipping, the systems that ship it fast, and the results that tie it back to revenue and brand lift. What You’ll Do: - AI-Powered Marketing Production: Build and run Bankrate’s marketing production pipeline — the tooling and workflows that turn a single concept into a library of on-brand, channel-native variants ready to test — freeing your team to spend their time on judgment calls instead of repetitive production. - Rapid Testing → Revenue: Use that volume to test relentlessly across every channel, let data (not opinion) pick winners, and tie creative output directly to pipeline and revenue. Speed of learning is the point. - Taste & the Creative Standard: Own what "great" looks like across paid, lifecycle, organic social, and brand — and hold that bar whether an asset was made by a person or a model. Your judgment is the quality gate on everything the pod and self-serve tools produce. - Cross-Functional Partnership: Be the connective tissue between the Head of Design, Head of Performance Marketing, Director of Brand, and Product Marketing Lead. - Team & Vendor Building: As the case for each hire comes together, build a small team with that same judgment and manage the freelancers or agencies that flex capacity in the meantime — all powered by the AI systems you stand up What We’re Looking For: - AI-native, human-led: You’re an expert with modern AI creative and copy tools — building repeatable workflows, not one-off prompts — and you have a point of view on where the tooling is headed. But that fluency is leverage, not the job: human judgment is still what makes the work good. - Strategic discernment & good judgment: Given ten versions of the same ad, you know immediately which one’s worth testing — and can explain why in terms your team can act on. That judgment holds across formats and disciplines: a scroll-stopping performance ad, a copy line that needs one more edit, a data claim that has to be airtight before it ships, or a polished video. - Team builder: You’ve hired, coached, and gotten the best out of creative talent — and you know how to build a small, judgment-led team that does more because of the AI systems around it, not despite them. - Art direction + copywriting range: Primary strength in either art direction or copywriting, with genuine working fluency in the other — you can direct or execute across both without needing someone else to translate. - Revenue + brand fluency: You speak performance marketing — paid, lifecycle, organic, brand — and you’re comfortable pulling data, briefs, and campaign plans into one coherent creative direction that moves revenue while protecting the brand. - Velocity mindset: You default to ship, test, and learn — trusting a few strong variants and real performance data to find the winner faster than solo second-guessing ever could. For you, iteration is how craft gets sharper, not a shortcut around it. - Strong communicator: You can walk stakeholders through creative rationale, take feedback without getting precious about it, and know when to push back on a brief versus when to execute it as given. Compensation: This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications. - Total Cash Compensation Range: $175,000 – $225,000 per year Additionally, the following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements. - Health Insurance Coverage (medical, dental, and vision) - Life Insurance - Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance - Flexible Spending Accounts - Holiday Pay - 401(k) with match - Employee Assistance Program - Paid Parental Bonding Benefit Program - Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO): We believe time to rest and recharge is essential. That’s why we offer a generous and flexible PTO policy. Full-time employees accrue 20 days of PTO for a full calendar year annually, with an increase to 25 days after five years of service. Who We Are: Bankrate is where Americans go to get the best price on life's most important financial decisions. By combining proprietary data, advanced technology, and deep market coverage, Bankrate helps consumers compare options and make confident financial choices across mortgages, credit cards, savings, and more. As a rate provider to the Federal Reserve and the benchmark relied upon by major publishers and policymakers nationwide, Bankrate's rate data is the national standard. This commitment to precision is reflected across all its products. In mortgages, proprietary auction technology puts lenders in real-time competition on price alone, consistently delivering rates in the lowest 10% in the country.
