DevSecOps Engineer
Raya
• Drive software engineering security hygiene end-to-end, from identifying vulnerabilities and misconfigurations to implementing durable fixes across our platform • Work hand-in-hand with DevOps and Engineering teams to embed security best practices into everyday workflows, without slowing down velocity • Stay current on evolving cloud security threats, tooling, and best practices, ensuring Raya's infrastructure stays ahead of emerging risks • Triage, prioritize, and systematically close out security findings, translating scanner output into practical, actionable engineering fixes • Expand and maintain security checks and guardrails in CI/CD pipelines and the broader PDLC, so security becomes a natural part of how we ship, not an afterthought
Job Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with **AWS** and **Kubernetes/EKS**, comfortable navigating cloud infrastructure and container environments from day one
- Solid foundation in **security fundamentals**: vulnerability management, IAM, network security, and cloud security posture management
- Experience triaging and remediating security findings from vulnerability scanners or cloud security tools
- Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines** and integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle
- Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with both DevOps and Security stakeholders and translate technical risk into clear priorities
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform/OpenTofu), compliance frameworks, or container security tooling

Role Description As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Figment, you'll own mission-critical validator infrastructure and pioneer agentic AI workflows that amplify team capability, sharpen operational decision-making, and drive measurable business outcomes. You'll have end-to-end ownership, high autonomy, and a direct impact on how our platform performs and scales. - Deploy and maintain blockchain validator nodes and associated infrastructure, leveraging Ansible and Terraform to automate protocol operations and guarantee maximum uptime for the network fleet. - Build and extend agentic AI workflows that automate operational patterns, directly driving AI enablement and infrastructure efficiency. - Onboard new protocols and staking infrastructure for institutional customers. - Sharpen monitoring, alerting, and observability across hybrid infrastructure supporting high-value blockchain staking operations. - Partner closely with our security team to deploy highly secure CI/CD builds and drive release pipeline improvements. - Contribute to incident resolution and participate in on-call rotation supporting operations across 50+ blockchain production staking infrastructure. - Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in Security, Product, Customer Success, and Finance, as well as external blockchain foundations, to drive strategic initiatives across our globally distributed team. Qualifications - 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering, with demonstrated experience building AI-augmented operational workflows and agentic tooling. - Strong expertise in Linux systems administration - systemd, networking, kernel upgrades, bare-metal comfort. - Comfortable with deep shell scripting, Python/Go, and Infrastructure as Code. - Proven success managing hybrid environments (bare-metal and cloud) at scale, with Ansible provisioning across multiple production hosts and Terraform-driven workflows for VMs, monitoring, Vault, and DNS modules. - Deep knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms (Datadog, PagerDuty - preferred) with a focus on actionable alerting and operational clarity. - Demonstrated experience building production-grade AI workflows using agentic tooling (Claude Code or equivalent), and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment. - A proactive, dive-in problem-solving mindset: you see risks early, turn them into plans, and drive improvements while sharing knowledge with your teammates.
