• Design intuitive, explainable, and user-centered experiences that integrate seamlessly into Apollo's product ecosystem. • Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to understand model capabilities. • Lead design for the Extension and Admin surfaces. • Use AI tools aggressively in your own workflow for ideation, rapid prototyping, research synthesis, and iteration. • Partner with PMs, Engineers, and Analysts to identify user needs. • Design for scale and consistency by contributing to Apollo's cross-surface design system in Figma. • Prototype, test, and iterate rapidly, using user feedback and behavioral data. • Collaborate with your squad during Weekly Sprint Planning and Daily Standups. • Collaborate with other Designers to provide feedback, share best practices. • Advocate for the user through interviews, usability tests, and behavioral analytics.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience designing and shipping complex web-based products founded in data and customer insights.
- You work in an AI-first way.
- Experience designing AI-powered features — conversational interfaces, recommendation systems, agentic workflows, or generative AI applications.
- Strong discernment: you can evaluate AI-generated output critically.
- You have expert design instincts and best-practice knowledge.
- You're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- You have experience creating and maintaining components across multiple product surfaces in Figma.
- You are a voracious learner.
