Associate Manager, Payroll

Role Description Process Bi-weekly payroll for SAI. - Oversee all Time & Labor – Time off and Timesheets. - Assist with ADP Databridge process ensuring data is passing timely from HR System. - Provide reporting as needed. - Responsible for maintenance of the database i.e., new hires, terms, changes, validation tables. - Assist with tax inquiries/issues. - Provide data for audits. Primary Duties & Responsibilities - Maintain Time and Labor database/functions. - Ensure policies & rules are set up and applied correctly to employee profiles. - Update leave policies specific to any Federal/State leave laws. - Audit all Time Off requests to ensure approvals are provided by managers in a timely manner. - Audit Time Off Balances to ensure employees are staying within limits of the policy. - Responsible for all Timesheets to ensure that employees have completed punches and managers are approving timely/Correct errors as needed. - Responsible for wage garnishment processing/ensure timely updates of new orders or termination of orders. - Ensure timely updates of all Third-Party Sick Pay entries. - Calculate and process all related leave of absence payments (disability, maternity, intermittent leave, etc.). - Process special payments, i.e., bonus, retro, awards, severance, executive medical reimbursement, taxable fringe benefits, etc. - Provide regular bi-weekly/monthly reports as requested. - Manage ADP Security Management (self-service and product users). - Respond to employee inquiries on pay and taxes/requests for reports. - Assist with processing and performing audits on all external files from vendors related to retirement and benefits. - Ensure payroll compliance for proper set-up of state & local tax jurisdictions. - Work with Benefits to ensure all employees have correct deductions in place. - Assist with Federal/State amendments and issue corrected W2s as needed. - Ensure compliance/work with Payroll Provider on set-up of all state/local tax jurisdictions for SAC & SAI. - Assist with reports or requested information needed for annual Finance, IT, and WC audits. - Work with Benefits on all 401K audits - provide payroll data as needed/Non-Discrimination Testing. - Liaison with outside payroll service for issues on payroll and taxes/projects. - Work on special projects as needed (i.e., integration with new systems/vendors; set up of new benefit plans/vendors). - Provide support/assistance to Management as needed. Qualifications - Requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably with ADP payroll services. - Must have basic knowledge of legal requirements associated with payroll and record keeping. - Must have experience with multi-state payroll processing & disability. - Must be able to interact professionally with employees at all levels. - Requires good verbal & written communication skills. - Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
