Aircraft Maintenance Manager
Thrive Aviation
• Manage and Monitor the Maintenance Control On-site and remote employees. • Oversee and manage all aspects of maintenance control operations for the Thrive Aviation’s Fleet. • Ensures Maintenance Control conducts themselves within the guidelines of company policies, work rules, and regulatory regulation. • Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements regarding aircraft maintenance. • Provides coaching, counseling, and guidance to Maintenance Controllers. • Ensures the proper paperwork is provided and filed for component overhauls, aircraft communication /navigation equipment certifications, and associated components in accordance with Thrive Aviation manuals, manufacturer’s manuals, bulletins, and orders. • Ensures proper execution of an Airworthiness Release. • Responsible for signing for the accomplishment of work on applicable work forms and records. • Processes all necessary paperwork as mandated by regulation. • Creates and maintain budgets for maintenance operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals. • Delegates assigned work in an expeditious manner, exercising sound judgement in executing each work project. • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management to provide updates on maintenance activities and address any concerns. • Make critical decisions in fast paced environment to ensure the safety and airworthiness of the fleet. • Foster Thrive Aviation’s culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
Job Requirements
- Current A&P License required
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management or related field; OR 7-10 years of Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection experience with a Part 135 operator
- 5 years in supervisor or management position.
- Expert level knowledge of FAA regulations as it pertains to aircraft maintenance
- Strong leadership with extensive knowledge and aircraft maintenance and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced skills and knowledge of aircraft parts management
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and applicable suite of products
- Fluency and knowledge of applicable industry specific-software tools, including Flexx , Traxxall, CAMP, and Corridor are highly preferred.

Role Description Drive quality excellence across our APAC supplier network. At Gymshark, product quality is fundamental to delivering the experience our community expects. We're looking for an experienced Regional QA Manager to oversee and elevate supplier quality performance across our Asia sourcing region, ensuring products are manufactured to Gymshark's standards for quality, performance, safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Based remotely in Vietnam, you'll act as the key quality representative within the region, partnering closely with suppliers, factories, Certified Factory Auditors (CFAs), and third-party inspection providers. You'll collaborate with teams across Sourcing, Product Development, Materials, Ethics, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure risks are identified early and quality standards are consistently achieved throughout production. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Drive supplier quality performance and ensure robust quality controls are implemented throughout the production process. - Supplier Quality Management - Partner with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure Gymshark quality, technical, inspection, and production standards are understood and consistently applied. - Monitor supplier quality systems and support improvements across manufacturing and inspection processes. - Follow up technical audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively and on time. - Support the rollout and execution of Gymshark quality programmes. - Provide input on supplier capability, technical competence, and factory suitability. - Product Risk Management - Review product and production risk assessments during development and pre-production stages. - Identify risks relating to construction, manufacturability, workmanship, materials, trims, colour, fit, durability, and production consistency. - Escalate significant risks and collaborate with internal teams to develop mitigation plans. - Ensure lessons learned from previous quality issues are incorporated before bulk production begins. - Production Quality & Inspection Governance - Monitor production activity across the region and ensure appropriate quality controls are in place. - Support production follow-up activities for high-risk, new supplier, or first-production programmes. - Provide guidance to suppliers and inspection partners regarding inspection standards and expectations. - Ensure defects and non-conformities are identified, communicated, and resolved effectively. - Certified Factory Auditor (CFA) Programme - Lead the regional CFA programme, supporting auditor selection, certification, training, and performance management. - Ensure consistent application of Gymshark inspection standards, measurement requirements, reporting processes, and escalation protocols. - Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement - Investigate recurring defects, failed inspections, customer complaints, and significant quality concerns. - Drive effective corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness. - Share key learnings and best practices across suppliers and internal teams. - Reporting & Performance Management - Analyse quality, inspection, audit, and supplier performance data. - Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. - Provide regular reporting and insights to the Head of Quality and wider Quality team. - Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, supplier performance, CAPAs, and quality activities. Qualifications - Strong experience in apparel quality assurance, quality management, or factory quality leadership. - In-depth knowledge of apparel manufacturing, garment construction, workmanship, fit, materials, trims, embellishments, printing, colour, and finishing processes. - Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, including inline, end-line and final inspections, AQL standards, defect classification, and inspection reporting. - Experience evaluating supplier quality systems and identifying opportunities for improvement. - Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving capability. - Ability to influence suppliers, factory management teams, auditors, and inspection partners without direct line management authority. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data and drive informed decisions. - Excellent planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills. - Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities. - Comfortable working remotely, independently, and across multiple countries and cultures. - A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for raising quality standards. • Territory Ownership and Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of school influencers and advocates—including educators, administrators, counselors, parents and guardians, alumni, and community stakeholders across an assigned portfolio of partner schools—to strengthen CIEE's presence and impact. • Collaborate with school partners to increase awareness of study abroad opportunities, diversify participation, and integrate global education into the broader school community. • Strategic Planning and Growth: Develop and execute strategic partnership plans that increase student participation in CIEE programs and align study abroad opportunities with each school's goals, priorities, and student needs. • Meet or exceed team enrollment goals, partnership objectives, and other key performance metrics established throughout the year. • Collaborate with CIEE teams such as marketing and philanthropy to identify school-specific areas for growth. • Sales Leadership and Pipeline Management: Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports (Enrollment Coordinators) to oversee the student sales process from lead generation to student travel. • Maximize conversions through close communication and teamwork. • Presentations and Events: Deliver engaging presentations to students, parents, and administrators, both virtually and in-person. • Travel within your region during the enrollment season to represent CIEE at conferences, pre-departure orientations, and regional or national professional gatherings. • Manage travel and engagement budgets responsibly while maintaining a strong presence within assigned schools and regions. • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze enrollment trends, school engagement data, and market opportunities to inform partnership strategies, identify areas for growth, and support data-driven decision-making. • Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities and engagement plans within our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce). • Proactively manage administrative and customer service tasks related to the enrollment and pre-departure process. • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
