Role Description Technology Architect will design the networking and security architecture for the Non-VMware private cloud platform within the FCI Service Family based on the open source. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and multi-tenant SUSE/KVM-based cloud services with a focus on Software-Defined Networking capabilities. The architect will design the network part for the cloud platform based on the KVM virtualization, networking, automation, and integration domains. Key responsibilities - Design and implement a SUSE-based virtualization platform using KVM as the hypervisor. - Ensure the platform is certified and optimized for workloads, including sizing, high availability, and performance requirements. - Design the network architecture (management, storage, tenant networks) to support the platform. - Implement Software-Defined Networking (SDN) (e.g., OVN/OVS or similar) for flexible tenant isolation, micro-segmentation, and multi-tenant support. - Define security zones, firewall rules, and routing patterns aligned with SAP and enterprise requirements. - Standardize on Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (infrastructure provisioning) and Ansible (configuration management). - Provide APIs and integration patterns so other tools and portals can consume the platform services. • Support the creation, maintenance, and updating of business process models (BPMN 2.0) and business use cases (UML). • Document business requirements and prepare results using Confluence and Jira. • Create and maintain process documentation, overview pages, and functional profiles. • Assist in preparing workshops, recurring meetings, and stakeholder meetings, including documenting meeting outcomes and minutes. • Participate in the analysis of business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization. • Support the preparation of management presentations, decision papers, and status reports. • Conduct research on market, technology, and industry trends in the Connected Car and automotive sectors. • Assist in the development of strategy documents, roadmaps, and business cases. • Perform quality assurance on documentation and maintain project artifacts in accordance with defined modeling and documentation standards. • Support the project team in coordinating with business departments and following up on open action items.
