Apply now and become part of fluege.de. - Develop, operate, and continuously improve stable, scalable, and secure backend services following the "You build it, you run it" principle. - Ensure high code quality, maintainability, and technical excellence through refactoring, reviews, and engineering best practices. - Evolve backend architectures with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. - Build and maintain CI/CD, deployment, and automation pipelines, as well as comprehensive testing strategies. - Leverage Generative AI and AI-assisted engineering tools for development, documentation, testing, and optimization. - Enhance observability through logging, monitoring, and tracing while ensuring the availability and resilience of production systems. - Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, App, BI, and Platform teams and contribute to technical standards, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Qualifications - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Strong programming skills in at least one backend language: PHP, Node.js, or Go optionally, including experience with APIs and integrations. - Solid understanding of modern software and backend architectures, ideally within cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes). - Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and operating and monitoring production systems. - Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, caching technologies, and secure software development practices (e.g., OWASP). - Hands-on experience with AI-augmented engineering and an interest in Generative AI and agentic AI approaches. - Strong communication skills, a proactive and analytical mindset, and good German & English language skills.
