Financial Operations Associate

The Position We’re looking for an Associate to assist clients with standard operations, administration, bookkeeping, payroll duties, budgeting, and other analysis and projects as needed. The position will report directly to a Senior Associate within SG. The Financial Operations Associate is an essential partner to our clients and will be responsible for delivering high-quality services and support.  They do this by applying their working knowledge of accounting processes and by using thoughtful, proactive communication to provide updates and answer client questions as they drive essential work to completion.  The Associate will cultivate strong client consultant working relationships rooted in trust and will operate with a flexible mindset that allows Salesberry Group to meet the unique and evolving needs of our mission-driven clients. Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, with a bachelor's degree in accounting (or similar field) Working understanding of GAAP Extensive experience and/or certification with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel Experience with Google Suite/Workspace, Asana, Keeper, and Slack A desire to support progressive organizations and their missions - including women's rights, LGBTQ rights, climate action, voter protection, immigration reform, equal access to healthcare, equal rights, and others Responsibilities Client Bookkeeping: Complete tasks for clients, including but not limited to processing bill payments, reconciling accounts, organizing expense documentation, managing supporting documentation, executing client invoicing and accounts receivable, and processing payroll. Monthly Reporting: Assist with the preparation and input for monthly reporting and budgeting, ensuring accuracy in financial records and compliance with accounting standards. Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and identify trends. Financial Platforms and Processes: Assist in ensuring financial platforms and processes are effectively used, implemented, and meet the needs of our clients. Special Project Support: Assist with administrative tasks as assigned to support special projects. Perform other duties as assigned. The Location Because Salesberry Group’s clients are located throughout the country, this position is remote and can work from anywhere in the continental US . Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without need of visa sponsorship now or in the future. Compensation and Benefits This is a full time position with a salary of $55,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Other compensation includes a monthly home office stipend. Salesberry Group offers 3 weeks of accrued PTO, 13 paid holidays, and unlimited sick leave. Additional PTO policies include parental leave (12 weeks), bereavement, voting, and blood donation. Salesberry Group provides medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees only. Employees can add dependents at their own cost. A 401K plan is available for employees to make pre-tax contributions, with no employer contribution at this time. Job Requirements

Reporting to the VP of Growth & Customer Experience, this role is a highly hands-on operator responsible for executing, maintaining, and improving the onsite journey across key customer touchpoints. During a critical period of change, this role will support a major Shopify migration and the Agency relaunch and rebrand. Longer term, the role will be responsible for the ongoing execution and optimization of the full site experience for one of Curology’s brands. This role operates within the site experience and growth strategy set by the VP, Growth & Customer Experience, translating direction into high-quality, reliable execution. This is not a strategy-only role. You will work directly in the CMS building pages, QA’ing experiences, fixing issues, and refining live content to ensure everything that ships is intentional, accurate, and performant. Essential Functions and Impact Areas: Site Execution & Operations - Build, update, and QA pages across homepage, landing pages, PDPs, category pages, promotions, cart, patient dashboard, and navigation. - Lead page and content rebuilds during Shopify migration, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and zero broken experiences. - Own CMS execution across Contentful and Shopify, including setup, publishing, QA, and ongoing maintenance. - Be accountable for site hygiene: no broken links, outdated content, misaligned messaging, or UX regressions. End-to-End Site Experience - Be responsible for the full onsite visitor journey post–ad or email click, from homepage or landing page through sign-up flow or PDP and checkout. - Ensure every touchpoint reflects brand values, marketing priorities, and customer intent. - Balance education, discovery, and commerce based on funnel stage and user mindset. Marketing Calendar + Site Calendar - Execute against the site calendar in partnership with Growth & Lifecycle - Support site-wide promotions and brand moments in close partnership with Lifecycle, Performance Marketing, Product, and Creative. - Ensure timing, messaging, and UX are consistent and cohesive across all onsite surfaces.
