Catastrophe Field Property Adjuster
Allstate
• Inspect properties damaged by various perils • Travel up to 90% of the time for inspections • Conduct inspections and evaluate policies • Prepare estimates in the Xactimate program • Settle claims on site with customers • Handle claims remotely when travel isn't possible • Follow a 10-day on and 4-day off schedule
Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel 90% of the time
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder
- Experience as an outside adjuster is preferred
- Proficiency in using Xactimate or other relevant software
- Strong critical thinking and technical skills

• Provide exceptional service to policyholders by conducting on-site inspections and investigating coverage. • Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently. • Handle virtual claims leveraging platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration. • Lead with empathy and investigate claims independently. • Communicate effectively with customers via various channels to offer support during the claims process. • Negotiate claims settlements using legal and business standard methodologies. • Document all work clearly in a claims system and execute policies along policy agreements.
• Handle personal line and commercial property losses for Insurers and National Corporate clients. • Examine insurance policies to determine coverage and investigate claims. • Interview claimants and witnesses regarding claims. • Prepare reports of findings and negotiate settlements with claimants. • Manage billing for assigned files and maintain accurate records.
