Property Desk Loss Adjuster

MDD Forensic Accountants

• Manage a portfolio of domestic and commercial property claims of varying complexity and value. • Interpret and apply policy cover, terms and conditions to determine liability and settlement. • Investigate property damage, identifying root causes and appropriate remedial actions. • Assess claims involving fire, flood, subsidence, heave, landslip and other insured perils. • Review contractors' estimates, repair scopes and technical reports. • Negotiate fair and cost-effective settlements with all parties involved. • Identify opportunities for recovery and pursue subrogation where appropriate. • Conduct investigative interviews and gather supporting evidence to establish claim validity. • Provide expert advice and support to customers, clients and colleagues. • Ensure all claim files are accurately maintained and managed in line with service standards and regulatory requirements. • Continuously seek innovative solutions that deliver the best outcome for both customers and clients.

Job Requirements

  • Previous insurance claims or loss adjusting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial property claims.
  • Excellent investigation, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A resilient and adaptable approach in a fast-moving environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
