Safeguarding Consultant

Bright Horizons UK

• Development, design, deliver and evaluate safeguarding training including face to face training, webinars and Brainshark’s to embed safeguarding knowledge. • Plan, conduct and summarise robust safeguarding investigations which meet the Safeguarding Threshold. • Support managers in preparing for ASV meetings. • Attend relevant external safeguarding meetings such as ASV, strategy meetings, etc. • Liaise with external agencies such as the police and LADO. • Collaborative critical review of safeguarding incidents to strengthen organisational learning. • Complete Safeguarding audit visits and triangulation visit which provides settings with clear learning and measurable actions. • Application of Coaching skills to aid DSL’s decision making. • Completing the Safeguarding data log accurately and in full. • Analysis of Quality data, Regulatory data and Safeguarding data to lead decision making as to where resource is dedicated. • Responsible For: Cancellation of safeguarding training in exceptional circumstances and categorising incident thresholds to determine level of investigation required.

Job Requirements

  • Expert knowledge and understanding of safeguarding legislation and requirements
  • Expert knowledge of the regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of managing ER and HR practices
  • Experience of completing complex investigations robustly
  • Training qualification or experience of delivering training
  • Coaching qualification and/or experience of coaching techniques
  • Early Years/HR qualification

Role Description The Sr Learning Advisor serves in a content oversight and content development role in support of Learning Solutions Clients. This individual is accountable for implementing solutions designed by the Solution Design (BD) team. They serve as the Learning Strategist on project teams, interacting with the client, assessing client needs and aligning on the approach and providing direction to full time and/or contractor writers, assuming writing tasks as needed. The Sr Learning Advisor may be asked to collaborate with the Solution Design (BD) teams to determine training needs and develop recommendations in support of business development efforts, help estimate level of effort required for new deliverables and tasked with executing/facilitating training or train-the-trainer sessions. Responsibilities - Conducts needs assessments to evaluate current Client training gaps and needs, document outcomes, and recommend learning solutions to meet the needs. - Develops Training Roadmaps, which include defined curriculum with recommended modality and sequencing, that guide associated curriculum development. - Nurtures the training concept throughout its evolution of the project to ensure alignment with the strategic intent of the project; includes strategic engagement with the client throughout the project. - Oversees development and/or creates engaging and effective training content that can be delivered via multiple modalities (e.g., distance-learning e-modules, e-zines, live training, communication and sustainability tools). - Ensures that all training content being developed by their writing team is developed using the best, most effective, and efficient instructional design strategies and leverages any available existing Learning Solutions intellectual property as necessary. - Ensures that training content is being delivered with the most effective and efficient modalities in alignment with the budget for the project. - Oversees or develops live training logistical and preparation support, including scheduling assistance, printing guides, and facilities requirements. - Works closely with Business Development to provide recommendations for future opportunities throughout the project. - Collaborates with all project team members to develop content and solve project challenges. - Coordinates with Syneos Health Learning Management System team, Deployment Solutions teams, and other key internal stakeholders. - Assists in managing Learning Solutions intellectual property. - Assists in developing and maintaining role-specific (e.g., Leadership Development initiatives, Account Manager Training, Medical Sales Liaison Training, Nurse Educators) training programs/curricula. - As required, serves as a facilitator and/or conducts facilitator training for all developed content. - As required, leads status meetings with the client team. Qualifications - 4-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience (Required). - MBA or Master's Degree or equivalent experience (Preferred).
