• Review and communicate select bloodwork results to clients using established medical guidelines and CoVet (AI) interpretations. • Clearly explain results, provide appropriate next steps, and document all communication in Vetspire. • Identify cases that require DVM involvement and appropriately reassign tasks when needed. • Evaluate medication refill and new medication requests for appropriateness and approval based on medical records and DVM guidance. • Communicate with DVMs when clarification or approval is needed. • Call in prescriptions to external pharmacies, including human pharmacies and online vendors. • Create and close medication encounters when appropriate. • Coordinate with in-clinic teams for medications being filled in clinic.
Job Requirements
- RVT — Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Utah
- 5+ years of vet tech experience; emergency or urgent care is a plus
- Team-first mindset — collaborative, communicative, and willing to jump in where needed
- Organized and proactive in a fast-paced environment, with a sharp eye for detail
- Client Communication: Provide professional, empathetic communication to clients regarding lab results and interpretation, medication approval status, and next steps when additional care, diagnostics, or appointments are needed
- Use Zendesk to send structured email updates to clients at key points in the request process, and ensure all communication is clearly logged and traceable
- Task & Workflow Management: Work from a dedicated Vetspire dashboard and account for the RVT Callback Group
- Collaborate closely with in-clinic nursing teams and DVMs to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity of care

Role Description Ejecutar y gestionar el proceso de solicitudes de compra (SolPed) en SAP, asegurando su correcta creación, validación, seguimiento y cierre, contribuyendo a la eficiencia operativa del área de Procurement, el cumplimiento de políticas internas y la trazabilidad de los procesos. Responsibilities - Gestionar la recepción, revisión y registro de solicitudes de compra (SolPed) provenientes de las distintas áreas de la compañía. - Analizar la imputación contable de las solicitudes, garantizando coherencia presupuestaria y exactitud de la información. - Crear y mantener actualizadas las solicitudes de pedido en SAP conforme a los procedimientos establecidos. - Realizar seguimiento del flujo de aprobación de SolPed hasta su liberación, asegurando cumplimiento de plazos. - Monitorear y apoyar el cumplimiento de indicadores de gestión (KPI) del área de compras. - Generar reportes operativos y administrativos para la toma de decisiones de la jefatura. - Asegurar el cumplimiento de políticas, procedimientos internos y controles del proceso de adquisiciones. - Coordinar con áreas internas (usuarios, finanzas, compradores) para asegurar la correcta ejecución del proceso. - Mantener un comportamiento alineado a los valores corporativos, promoviendo la seguridad, sostenibilidad y mejora continua.
