• Under the direction of the Manufacturing Technologies Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting in process improvements, equipment design, and project management associated with the various manufacturing processes. • Assist in the evaluation of manufacturing processes including product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials and develop and implement improvements. • Studying product requirements, inspecting equipment, processes, operations, assembly, testing manufacturing methods utilized. • Develop maintenance procedures for repair services by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, requesting special service. • Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information to justify machine improvements, process changes and/or capital investments. • Create and maintain drawings in both CAD and Inventor formats. • Provide manufacturing engineering information. • Comply with all applicable government regulations. • Undertake other duties as may be assigned.

• Develop and maintain the mechanical POR for Giga Data Centers, defining the "Gold Standard" design that enables manufacturing of reliability and efficiency at scale • Author and own the internal engineering library including technical specifications and Basis of Design documents, deciding what we build and how we measure it • Design to global and local standards, leveraging ASHRAE TC 9.9 to define environmental envelopes for AI hardware and ensuring compliance with ASHRAE 90.1 for energy efficiency • Guide external engineering firms to localize designs while maintaining strict adherence to core performance intent and standardization requirements • Validate airflow patterns and rack-level thermal performance using computational fluid dynamics, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE thermal guidelines for Class A1-A4 environments • Execute rigorous hydraulic analysis and thermal load flow studies, conducting pipe stress analysis per ASME B31 standards to ensure system integrity under thermal expansion and seismic events • Engineer complex cooling loops (Direct-to-Chip, Immersion, RDHx) aligned with OCP (Open Compute Project) specifications for liquid cooling interoperability • Select and specify pumps, fans, chillers, dry coolers, and control valves for high-density compute environments • Create detailed Bills of Material (BOMs), Quantity Take Offs (QTOs), and Commissioning scripts to support a manufacturing-first supply chain • Develop Sequence of Operations (SOO) and Control Narratives that dictate how mechanical systems respond to dynamic AI load changes • Use advanced simulation tools to optimize thermal performance and validate designs before manufacturing

Role Description The Simulation and Virtual Development Engineer will play a key role in advancing our capabilities in the virtual design and analysis of next generation sporting goods. This position emphasizes CAD parameterization and FEA methodologies to develop durable, lightweight structures across a range of product categories. The role will specifically work on Baseball/Softball and may also collaborate closely with Innovation and R&D teams across all Wilson business units. - Lead virtual prototyping efforts, including CAD parameterization, to support advanced design concepts across multiple sports categories. - Build and refine CAE models to assess strength, durability, manufacturability, aerodynamics, acoustics, and overall performance, including applications for 3D printing. - Develop and manage Multiphysics optimization workflows to drive innovative product solutions. - Research and evaluate improved methods to capture collision dynamics and responses. - Interpret simulation results and deliver clear, actionable insights, and key findings to guide engineering decisions across R&D teams and support the development of high-performance products. - Analyze large data sets to extract critical insights and develop advanced statistical and machine learning models. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - 2-5 years experience. - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering field required; a graduate degree is preferred. - Familiarity in 3D CAD Modeling (NX preferred). - Proficiency with finite element software (LS-Dyna, ANSYS or Abaqus), numerical methods, and underlying FEA theory is beneficial. - Experience in composite mechanics, composite material characterization and modeling using advanced FE tools (e.g., Ansys Composites Pre-post, Hypermesh Composite module) is preferred. - Experience with pre‑processing tools such as HyperMesh is preferred. - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python). - Ability to work in fast changing environment and prioritize tasks effectively. - Ability to communicate complex methods, timelines and findings to a non-technical audience. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess options, evaluate outcomes, and provide clear recommendations for improvement or next steps. - A strong drive for continuous learning and a natural curiosity for uncovering the underlying physics behind product behavior. - A demonstrated passion for sports is a big plus. - Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and within a team. - Organized and detail oriented. Requirements - A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $78,000 - $100,000 per year at the time of this posting.
