Role Description The Systems Integration Specialist’s role is to participate in the planning, coordination, and solution development and implementation activities related to the integration of applications and technologies within the organization’s TMS business system. - 4 years’ direct experience in enterprise-level application integration. - Proven technical project management experience. - Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping and methodology development, and data mapping. - Direct, hands-on experience with automated integration tools, including Microsoft SQL Data Transformation Services, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services. - Extensive knowledge of relational database design and management techniques, especially with Microsoft SQL Server. - Proficiency in various integration patterns and protocols such as SFTP, and EDI as well as development and testing tools including Postman. - Strong knowledge of data formats, including XML, JSON, and CSV. - Experience in working with different external APIs including JSON: API. - Experience with securing integration scenarios using appropriate authentication, authorization. - Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies. - Understanding end-user needs and requirements. - Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives. - Server management skills and an understanding of infrastructure concepts. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications - 4 years of direct experience in enterprise-level application integration. - Proven technical project management experience. - Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between business units and systems. - Familiarity with transportation management systems is a plus.
