Lead Construction Inspector
Ulteig
• Provide support to engineers as an assistant construction project team leader • Coordinate, execute, and manage construction of engineering projects • Perform calculations using engineering formulas and skills • Analyze for development and implementation of engineering and construction-related services • Assist field staff and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget • Supervise less experienced staff and/or technical support as needed • Work long hours during construction season
Job Requirements
- 5 years of related experience in municipal or DOT construction inspection required
- DOT, ACI, or related certifications for Asphalt and/or Concrete preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc) and Outlook proficiency
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- A commitment to quality and integrity
- A willingness to learn new skills, take on new challenges
- Superior interpersonal and organizational skills
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and with a project team
- Authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
