Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to drive the development and enhancement of our technology solutions. This strategic role combines technical expertise with business acumen to deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions that meet stakeholder needs. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities: Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business strategy and objectives Scope and prioritize product backlog based on business value and customer impact Maintain oversight of budget, resources, scope, and timing to meet established goals Function as a product evangelist, building awareness and understanding among stakeholders Coordinate alignment across Tax Partners, Security, Legal, Risk Management, Marketing, and Global IT teams Elicit and document business needs, assumptions, constraints, and success measures Perform gap analysis between current and future states to drive scope and prioritization Analyze business processes to identify patterns and automation opportunities Create detailed business and system requirements using various documentation methods Design mockups and wireframes to support UI/UX development Study user behavior and feedback to advocate for user needs while balancing technical complexity Build trust and positive relationships with diverse project and product stakeholders Serve as liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and user communities Support successful User Acceptance Testing, pilots, and rollouts Manage and communicate project risks, particularly regarding scope changes Maintain detailed knowledge of business functions and functional owners within the portfolio Understand solution architecture sufficiently to assess enhancement impacts Support root cause analysis of escalated issues Maintain awareness of technology updates to ensure cost-effective solutions Demo and articulate technology value propositions Guide reporting and dashboard implementation across the platform ecosystem Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role Proven expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO) Demonstrated experience with Power BI and enterprise reporting solutions Strong background in managing high-volume data systems Experience leading content/report authoring teams Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Preferred Requirements: Advanced degree in relevant field Agile/Scrum certification Experience in tax technology solutions Knowledge of embedded analytics and reporting architectures Track record of successful enterprise-scale product launches Experience with change management in complex organizations If you are looking for a role where you will lead with integrity, create and innovate, inspire excellence, be a respected member of the team, drive results, and have fun, we look forward to connecting with you!
