Role Description This role qualifies for a remote work arrangement within our 7 state footprint (PA, OH, MI, WV, VA, MD, NC). This position offers a base salary range of $102,039.00 - $170,068.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus based on company performance. Responsibilities - Provide civil engineering support to Entitlement Managers within assigned regions. - Manage the design process of external and internal engineering consultants and designers on the civil engineering, geotechnical, and structural design of various Sheetz capital projects including new stores, rebuilds, remodels, car washes, and EV infrastructure. - Provide QA/QC of consultants engineered plans to ensure they meet Sheetz Civil Engineering and Brand standards while providing a value-engineered design. - Collaborate with Entitlement Managers on Civil Engineering consultant selection based upon consultant’s work-load and ability to meet our aggressive project schedules. - Provide Entitlement Managers preliminary cost estimates of work associated with off-site roadway improvements, utility relocations, stormwater improvements, geotechnical issues and other associated miscellaneous costs not captured in our preliminary base budget estimate. - Provide support to the Construction Department prior to and during construction to address any unforeseen or construction issues that may arise during the project. - Hold external consultants accountable to schedules for submissions to agencies. - Work cross-functionally with Entitlement Manager and Real Estate by identifying site feasibility concerns, and providing preliminary development cost estimates. - Coordinate with local public/private utility companies for relocations and service as needed for development of the site/store requirements. - Represent Sheetz at public, municipal, and governmental agency meetings, including testimony at Zoning Hearing Boards when necessary to represent Sheetz engineering design standards. - Support other Departments within our organization by providing expertise to design issues or research and development activities when required. - Provide recommended updates to Sheetz design standards in response to regulatory agency changes in policies and/or the development of new or more efficient engineering technologies. - Work with Construction Project Managers to complete all outstanding work items to obtain final closeout of all bonds and insurance upon issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. Role Description Andromeda Systems Incorporated (ASI) is seeking a Journeyman Materials Engineer to support the Materials Protection Team (MPT). This role is critical to supporting various military aircraft depot overhaul programs by applying materials and process engineering principles to our core areas of expertise: inorganic coatings, cleaning, organic coatings, corrosion, wear, preservation, and additive manufacturing, specifically cold spray.
