Senior Frontend Engineer
Inca Digital, Inc.
Role Description As a Frontend Engineer, you will architect high-performance interfaces that transform complex blockchain and financial data into actionable intelligence. You will build streaming, data-heavy dashboards for global regulators and financial institutions, ensuring precision and speed at scale. At Inca Digital, we prioritize logic over authority. You'll work in an asynchronous, remote environment alongside cross-functional teams, enjoying high autonomy to solve intricate UI and data-delivery challenges using a modern React/Next.js stack. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement responsive, high-performance user interfaces for both internal tools and client-facing applications. - Ensure seamless user experiences by prioritizing fast load times, smooth interactions, and intuitive navigation across all web platforms. - Collaborate with the team to establish and enforce UI/UX standards, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across the entire application ecosystem. - Optimize frontend performance for real-time, data-intensive views including streaming and live-updating dashboards. Qualifications - 3+ years of proven success in front-end engineering roles. - Advanced proficiency in building modern web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. - Deep familiarity with the TanStack suite (Query, Table) and Material UI (MUI) or comparable component libraries. - Solid grasp of frontend architecture, state management patterns, and performance tuning. - Skilled in consuming HTTP-based protocols, including HTTP/2, streaming APIs, and real-time interfaces like WebSockets or SSE. - A background in developing data-heavy or analytics-driven dashboards is highly valued. Requirements - All offers of employment are contingent upon a successful background check. Nice to Have - Experience with backend technologies such as Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) or Go (Golang). - Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL) or analytical stores (ClickHouse) from a frontend integration perspective. - Exposure to message queues and event-driven systems (AWS SQS/SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ) as a consumer. - Experience building or integrating with streaming or event-driven APIs. - Familiarity with deploying frontend applications to cloud environments, preferably AWS. - Aware of observability, logging, and monitoring tooling as it relates to frontend applications. Benefits - We operate in a fully remote, high-trust environment and prioritize impact and delivered results over hours logged. - We offer competitive compensation and healthcare stipend. - We invest in our people through childcare stipends and dedicated employee assistance resources. - Join a thought leader at the intersection of national security and digital assets, working with cutting-edge tech that defines the field. Inclusion & Equal Opportunity As a veteran-owned company, Inca Digital thrives on diverse perspectives, specifically across race, gender, neurodivergence, and veteran status, to solve complex data challenges. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer; all qualified applicants receive consideration without regard to protected status, including disability or national origin.
