Senior Manager, e-Procurement

About the Role Labviva is seeking a Senior Manager, e-Procurement to lead and develop our Merchandising and Supplier Sales Operations teams, driving GMV and revenue extension while reducing cost to serve for our Life Sciences B2B marketplace. This role will manage and mentor a small team of inhouse/offshore team members while shaping the operational strategy and best practices that ensure our suppliers achieve long-term success with Labviva. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth startup that is transforming lab supplier purchasing in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industries. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of operational leadership, online merchandising experience, building supplier relationships, and partnering with sales on GTM commercialization strategy in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Note: Accepting candidates that reside in the Boston, MA area, or Eastcoast or Midwest States only. How You Will Contribute Team Leadership : Manage, coach, and develop a hybrid offshore/inhouse team owning Merchandising Operations (Product Catalog), and Supplier Sales Operations (Supplier Sales Pipeline) Commercial Strategy : Work with executives and partners to develop upsell offerings for our suppliers via analytics, advertising, services, merchandising initiatives, etc. Supplier Sales Pipeline Management : Ensuring proactive operational management and analytical insights from the supplier sales pipeline Merchandising & Assortment : Work with suppliers to drive higher product page conversion rate, average order size and positive revenue arbitrage through improvements to our product selection and merchandising Operational Excellence: Establish scalable processes, playbooks, and metrics that elevate team performance. Manage the supplier sales pipeline and all ecommerce catalogs while delivering improvements to quality and reductions to cost to serve. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer, Product, and Engineering teams to align account strategies, deliver customer and supplier solutions, and drive revenue expansion What You Bring to the Team About the Company Labviva is on a mission to accelerate the pace of life science research. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and
- 3+ years of experience
- ecommerce Merchandising, Sales Operations and/or Partnerships with at least 1+ years of direct people management experience.
- Background working with enterprise customers in Biotech, Life Sciences, or higher-education research institutions; experience with lab consumables a plus.
- Proven success building and scaling operational teams, with measurable impact on revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence at the executive level
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and pivot in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), JIRA, Confluence, and data analysis (Tableau, Sisense, Excel).
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- MBA a plus
- Experience with e-Procurement platforms such as Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, and Jaggaer a plus
- Experience working with marketplace metrics a plus
- SQL a plus
- Experience developing AI agentic workflows a plus
