• Design, build, and operate infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure • Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency • Own CI/CD pipelines from code integration through automated deployment • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools • Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker and Kubernetes • Manage GPU-enabled infrastructure for AI model training and inference workloads • Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems • Support private, VPC-isolated enterprise deployments with strong security and audit capabilities • Collaborate with ML teams to deploy and scale training and inference workloads • Work closely with Security and Engineering teams to improve infrastructure resilience and operational excellence • Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational best practices

Role Description Under direction of the Area Service Manager, develops customer satisfaction through technical repair, installation, training, operation, and maintenance of Werfen instruments and systems. Position may have a specific assigned territory or system population or may be a position to cover other assigned territories as needed under the direction of the Area Service Manager. Responsibilities - Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installations and necessary diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex instruments and systems. - Performs routine and some non-routine technical repairs of all systems, including updates, retrofits, PMs, and product enhancements. - Instructs customers in the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Werfen instruments and systems. - Is responsible for complying with all appropriate regulatory bodies (FDA, ISO, and Health Canada) mandated policies, procedures, work instructions, and records. - Serves as a company liaison with customers. - Responsible for routine interaction with sales counterparts regarding customer situations, updates, and lead generation. - Assures financial stability and viability of territory by promoting and selling service agreements, PMs, and other services. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Area Service Manager. Qualifications - Associates Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or related industry. - Must possess some organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and exercise good judgment. - Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management through oral and written presentations/reports. - Must have some basic MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), including the ability to manipulate data and build presentations. - Travel is required. Requirements - Minimum 30% travel by auto in primary assigned territory. - Minimum 10% travel by air for training, business meetings, and/or support to customers outside primary or assigned territory. • Keep user-facing services and production systems reliable, scalable, and efficient • Build automation and tooling that reduces toil and replaces manual work with repeatable, infrastructure-as-code-driven workflows • Operate and troubleshoot production systems on Kubernetes, including deployments, rollouts, and scaling • Write and maintain infrastructure as code, and ship changes safely through CI/CD and GitOps • Participate in on-call, triage alerts, follow and improve runbooks, and escalate appropriately • Contribute to the observability stack, using metrics, logs, and SLOs to detect symptoms early rather than just outages • Take part in incident response and post-incident reviews, turning learnings into changes in automation and process • Document runbooks, architecture decisions, and reviews so your findings become repeatable practices
