Admissions Advisor
CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange
• Serve as an admissions expert, advising students on appropriate CIEE programs based on their academic interests, goals, and eligibility. • Provide hands-on guidance to students as they begin, complete, and submit their CIEE applications. • Offer individualised support. • Manage a high volume of communication (emails and calls) and respond to inquiries within one working day. • Schedule prompt follow-up with prospective students to provide support and determine the level of commitment, and execute strategies to inform students about CIEE programs at all phases of the inquiry and application process. • Organise and host information sessions, webinars, tabling events, and classroom presentations to raise awareness about CIEE programs. • Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of CIEE Student Ambassadors on campus. • With the Manager of Institutional Relations, guide their outreach strategies and activities to generate and convert applications for CIEE Study Abroad programs. • Work with Institutional Relations Managers to ensure alignment with partner institution goals and provide insights from the ground. • Achieve personal and team qualitative and quantitative targets (i.e., completed applications and conversion of those applications) set by leadership. • Document call information and input data into the organisational CRM (Salesforce) to ensure seamless communication and progress tracking. • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on CIEE program offerings, policies, and tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
- Experience in student advising, customer service, higher education, or a sales-oriented field.
- Study abroad experience strongly preferred.
- High energy, positive, proactive, team-oriented, problem-solver.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups and working one-on-one.
- Strong attention to detail, exemplary problem-solving, professional written and oral communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, high aptitude for organisation, excellent time management skills, and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and remotely as part of a team.
- Demonstrate initiative while also being open to feedback and taking direction when needed.
- Fluency in day-to-day computer use including Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to use technology to improve performance.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to embrace CIEE’s Core Values (Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, and Problem Solving) and culture.
- Valid US driver’s license.

Admissions Enrollment Advisor
Nightingale Education GroupSupporting group for Nightingale College, Nightingale Innovations, and Nightingale Solutions.
• Initiate outbound phone calls and handle inbound calls in response to inquiries each day to set appointments and conduct interviews with prospective learners. • Contact prospective learners to confirm and conduct scheduled appointments, ensuring all necessary information is communicated, any questions are addressed, and adherence to all compliance and accreditation standards is maintained. • Provide a daily activity report (DAR) to the Supervisor. • Generate leads by requesting referrals and enter all new inquiry information in the appropriate system. • Utilize the Discover, Commit, Start Application process with prospective learners. • Assist prospective learners, learner families, and other relevant parties who may be involved in decision-making. • Invite qualified applicants to apply, ensuring they receive all necessary information and support throughout the application process. • Answer questions about the appropriate Nursing Program with accuracy. • Update and maintain learner records in the learner management system (LMS). • Review all required documentation needed for new learner enrollment, resolving any conflicting information in electronic files to ensure accreditation and compliance standards are met. • Collaborate with other functions to provide the highest level of service for enrolling learners. • Review the eLearn assessment results to evaluate and determine the suitability of prospective learners for admission to the college. • Participate in weekly Admissions meetings including 1:1s, coaching meetings, trainings, and team meetings. • Participate in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise.
