The position will focus on existing systems, reducing work through automation, and ensuring the permanent closure of incidents. Specific duties of the position include: Troubleshoot major incidents, involving and engaging all necessary teams, create post mortems, and ensure closure of incident; Ensure Client SLAs/SLOs are met; Engage with tools and operations teams to address failure patterns and incidents; Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions; Identify areas for automation to reduce manual operational work; and Participate in 24x7 support coverage as needed. Up to 10% domestic travel for team meetings. Hybrid-remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; plus 8 years of experience as a Systems Software Application Analyst or in any occupation/title providing relevant experience in Middle Office support. Must have: Solid understanding of the software delivery lifecycle using Agile practices; Demonstrated proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, or Go; Proven hands-on experience with deployment, monitoring, automation and operations analysis tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, or Dynatrace Managed; and Proficient in ITIL processes. (Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the stated ability in the skills listed above with no specific number of years or amount of experience required. All experience can be gained concurrently.) Salary Range: $146,806 - $185,000 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
