• Ensure all testing and commissioning activities are planned and carried out in compliance with safety requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations. • Liaise with Engineering and PM team for timely issuance of data required for preparation of commissioning site works (specs, designs, BOQ, material lists, …) • Prepare the Commissioning Schedule for the HVDC Converter Station in alignment with the consortium partner for the platform manufacturing • Be part of a team to prepare Commissioning documentation like ITPs & Checklists and setup a Completion Management System • Contribute as part of the Commissioning Team to Factory Acceptance Tests to ensure that systems delivered to site with the right quality • Maintain effective communication related to Commissioning scope with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders and be the main point of contact for Commissioning on site • Collaborate with the Project Team about Quality, Claim & Risk Management
Job Requirements
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Knowledge and minimum several years of experience in Commissioning of substations, Power Plants or HVDC Systems.
- Excellent Communication skills paired with strong Leadership skills in an internation project environment
- Fluent in English, German language or additional language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work on construction sites and optional assignments on offshore platforms.
