Job Description

IT Support Technician

Exolum

• Provide first-line technical support to employees across the business • Ensure effective, secure, and reliable use of IT systems and services • Support day-to-day service desk operations • Maintain IT equipment and software • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of technology environment • Manage, maintain, and support systems, software applications, and equipment • Manage the ordering, installation, replacement, setup, and build of end-user IT hardware • Act as the escalation point for the Exolum 1st Line Helpdesk • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements

Job Requirements

  • Proactive and customer-focused IT professional
  • Solid technical knowledge across Microsoft technologies
  • Experience supporting users in a fast-paced business environment
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, Active Directory, networking, and mobile devices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, virtualisation technologies, endpoint security solutions, and Mobile Device Management platforms is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel to Exolum sites when required
  • Full UK driving licence
