Senior Business Relationship Manager – Real Estate

Coastal Community

• Build and manage a portfolio of commercial real estate development and construction lending relationships • Originate and structure commercial real estate and syndicated lending opportunities • Prepare credit recommendations through comprehensive financial, risk, and security analysis • Manage the full lifecycle of a lending portfolio, including annual reviews, renewals, amendments, and ongoing relationship management • Monitor portfolio performance and proactively address risk issues • Build relationships with developers, investors, centers of influence, and referral partners • Collaborate across business lines to deliver integrated member solutions and identify cross-selling opportunities • Support and mentor colleagues through knowledge sharing and best practice development.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of a college diploma or university degree in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive commercial lending experience focusing on real estate development and construction financing
  • Strong experience in credit underwriting, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and structuring complex lending transactions
  • Deep understanding of commercial real estate development lending, project risk assessment, and security evaluation
  • Demonstrated business development experience with the ability to build strong relationships with members, referral partners, and centers of influence
  • Strong knowledge of integrated financial solutions and ability to identify opportunities across business lines
  • Proven expertise in commercial real estate financing and portfolio management
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Experience mentoring or coaching colleagues and serving as a trusted resource in commercial lending
  • Experience with loan syndications and syndicated lending structures
  • Experience with CMHC loan origination and loan servicing (considered an asset)
  • The ability to balance growth objectives with sound risk management practices.

Additionally, you'll embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new applications and market opportunities to contribute to our values and mission. - Own business development for unreinforced injection molding intermediates across North & South Americas, building a pipeline of new accounts and opportunities. - Drive customer acquisition by positioning Envalior solutions versus competitors and leading conversion efforts to win new business. - Develop territory strategy for the Americas, prioritizing targets and coverage to maximize growth. - Partner closely with internal stakeholders to align account plans, share market intelligence, and coordinate commercial execution. - Coordinate cross-regionally with European colleagues and production to support customer needs and supply planning. - Work with the intermediates organization and key partners to operate with high autonomy while staying tightly integrated with the broader commercial team. - Represent Envalior professionally with customers across the region; Spanish language capability is a plus. Qualifications - Proven B2B sales/business development experience in the intermediates. - Must be able to discuss polyamides (nylon) in customer conversations, fluently. - Strong hunter mindset with the ability to open doors, influence decision-makers, and persuade customers to switch from incumbent suppliers. - Experienced commercial professional (not a recent graduate); significant, relevant sales tenure strongly preferred. - University degree preferred (Chemistry, Plastics/Polymer, Engineering, Business); Master’s or MBA is a plus. - Extensive relevant sales experience (e.g., 10+ years) may substitute for formal education. - No specific certifications required; demonstrated market knowledge and commercial credibility are most important. - Willingness to travel across the Americas as needed to develop customers and support growth. - English required; Spanish is beneficial but not mandatory.
