• Drive the organization's corporate planning process • Manage various projects and initiatives supporting effective delivery of business solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and facilitate planning sessions • Monitor project performance and ensure effective communication with stakeholders • Develop detailed plans to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques • Provide effective leadership to the project team • Oversee stakeholder management and communication for each initiative
• Lead the development and delivery of Coastal Community’s enterprise risk assessment program • Conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative risk analyses • Facilitate risk workshops and interviews with stakeholders • Monitor emerging risk trends • Support the development, review, and governance of enterprise risk management policies
• Responsible for promoting growth of residential mortgage business and relationship product business • Use skills to build and maintain a network of realtors, builders, developers, contractors, accountants, financial planners and other centers of influence • Develop and maintain productive business relationships • Provide flexibility in how and when you meet the member/client needs to offer quality service and convenience • Generate mortgage business and uncover additional member needs to generate referral opportunities back to the branch and all internal business lines
• Develop and deliver strategies that optimize balance sheet performance when member-based loan growth is insufficient • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the specialized lending team • Lead development and delivery of the specialized lending/third-party transaction strategic plan, annual operating plan, and budget • Use industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging risk insights to shape strategy and guide decisions • Lead the origination, structuring, and ongoing management of specialized lending and liquidity transactions (syndications, participations, whole-loan purchases, secondary market activity, investment products, CUSO/correspondent partnerships) • Monitor markets and risk indicators to adjust tactics and optimize liquidity deployment opportunities • Provide people leadership for the specialized lending management team (oversight, coaching, development, performance expectations, succession planning) • Approve transactions within delegated authority and escalate higher-limit items to the appropriate committees • Ensure end-to-end risk management processes are in place across credit, operational, reputational, and regulatory risk • Ensure regulatory/policy compliance, partner with Risk/Compliance/Legal, oversee second-line testing and audit responses, and prepare executive/Board reporting on activity, risk, and performance.
• Provide independent assurance and strategic insight that strengthens governance, risk management, and internal controls across Coastal Community. • Lead the development and execution of risk-based internal audit plans. • Assess the effectiveness of operational management, risk management, and compliance practices. • Provide independent insight on governance, controls, and emerging risks. • Support the Board in fulfilling its governance responsibilities by delivering independent assurance and advisory services.
