Vice President of Sales

We are looking for a VP of Sales - US (m/f/d) who is a proven leader both strategically and tactically plays a vital, hands-on role in developing and shaping the HRS Organization as well as running the company’s operations and to give strategic guidance and direction to ensure that the company achieves its mission and objectives. Take full responsibility for new strategic sales for the region and to win the hearts and minds of stakeholders across the corporate landscape. Directly reports to the Global CRO. Be appointed and act as sole Director of the Americas legal entity, manage and have ownership for the total P&L of HRS’s assigned region. Bring a laser-focus to creating and implementing a go-to-market strategy that identifies clear opportunities for revenue growth. Project yourself into the market as a change agent go-to-market entrepreneur who is willing to challenge the status-quo. Work closely and collaboratively with regional peers, cultivate a strong regional ethos of team spirit, industry disruption and start-up energy. Build a strong cooperation with executives from HRS’s headquarters to identify and implement best practices and identify both operational savings and opportunities for growth and expansion. Coordinate all the employees under the legal entity, in compliance with the matrix organizations and in coordination with the global functional leaders. Bring your talents and strategic sales experience into HRS to provide strong guidance to internal stakeholders and to extend the network of external stakeholders. Development of local partnership within the industry and generate cross-selling opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Several years’ proven experience selling into and implementing enterprise SaaS solutions into the CXO suite and their direct reports at enterprise accounts, e.g. Fortune 500 companies.
  • Track record of leading the sales of an early-stage company to sustained, solid growth.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills. Record of accomplishment of inspiring and motivating others to achieve results that exceed what was believed to be possible.
  • Unparalleled interpersonal and communications skills to inspire prospects and to help vocalize and pitch the HRS value proposition to the market (proven public speaking a must).
  • Skilled in working within a matrixed organization and in forwarding, building momentum for and successfully driving the competition of strategic initiatives that impact a total organization and company.
  • Substantial B2B strategic sales and account management experience with strong negotiation skills.
  • Talented at analyzing and understanding customer situations by interpreting data and identifying trends – and linking to your employer’s solutions.
  • Ability to keep up with a fast-paced internal environment where products and solutions evolve quickly and need to be accurately integrated into customer/sales story lines as the solutions evolve. Embracing change is a must.

The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for securing philanthropic support that aligns with our mission. Reporting to the Director, Development & Alumni Relations, the Major Gifts Officer will be responsible for securing funds from individual donors at the major gifts level ($100,000+) in support of the organization’s vision and revenue needs.
