UltraCare Liaison, Inborn Errors of the Metabolism
Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical
Role Description We are looking for experienced UltraCare Liaisons (UCLs) that will represent Ultragenyx in the Rare Disease Community, responsible for the promotion of Dojolvi for the treatment of long chain fatty oxidation disorders (LC-FAOD). Ultragenyx is also preparing for the potential commercialization of two investigational novel gene therapies in MPSIIIA and GSD1a. We are seeking driven individuals with the desire to run their own business within a specified geography. These individuals will have strong business acumen, be able to drive change through innovative approaches, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and consistently deliver sales results. Responsibilities - Build an internal high touch patient service organization preferred in a rare disease. - Experience gaining reimbursement of orphan therapies covered under both pharmacy and medical benefit. - Multiple product launches in patient services preferred. - Expert understanding of reimbursement solutions and access programs for specialty pharmaceuticals with particular focus on rare diseases. - Proven success recruiting and hiring expert teams from reimbursement managers, case managers, and nurses to support patients and caregivers. - Canadian experience a plus. - Experience with call center technology platforms from CRM to Case management systems and tools used to manage patient services centers. - Ability to translate vision of being heroes to our patients into an exceptionally innovative patient service organization. - MS, RN, Pharm D, or MBA preferred.
