Qualifications - A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. - Substantial professional experience in software development, with a solid record of designing, building, and evolving complex software systems. - Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices. - Expertise in building large React applications with TypeScript. - Expertise in one or more backend languages, such as Java, Kotlin, or Python. - Experience building and deploying generative AI infrastructure and/or applications. - Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases, owning features end-to-end. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with great attention to detail. - Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban. • Master the Zscaler SecOps platform and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Services to translate customer requirements into actionable integration plans. • Onboard and map diverse cybersecurity and IT data sources in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) to align directly with customer use cases. • Own data quality and pipeline integrity by auditing environments, proactively troubleshooting issues, identifying security gaps, and defining clear remediation steps for customers. • Leverage Python, APIs, and AI coding agents (such as Claude Code or Gemini CLI) to efficiently configure, customize, and automate data transformations and platform workflows. • Communicate technical findings to stakeholders and deliver field-based insights to the Engineering team to drive continuous product improvements.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of Firefox features related to installs, updates, and OS integrations. • Help implement enhancements to the Firefox installation and update experience, using data insights to guide development. • Tackle platform-specific challenges in low-level operating system integration on Windows and/or macOS. • Collaborate with your manager and teammates to scope and prioritize work in alignment with the team’s goals. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions with peers. • Take ownership of complex bugs and lead efforts to improve the Firefox experience for hundreds of millions of users. • Work closely with your geographically distributed team in a highly collaborative environment.
