Qualifications - A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. - Substantial professional experience in software development, with a solid record of designing, building, and evolving complex software systems. - Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices. - Expertise in building large React applications with TypeScript. - Expertise in one or more backend languages, such as Python or Node.js. - Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases, owning features end-to-end. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with great attention to detail. - Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban. • Master the Zscaler SecOps platform and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Services to translate customer requirements into actionable integration plans. • Onboard and map diverse cybersecurity and IT data sources in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) to align directly with customer use cases. • Own data quality and pipeline integrity by auditing environments, proactively troubleshooting issues, identifying security gaps, and defining clear remediation steps for customers. • Leverage Python, APIs, and AI coding agents (such as Claude Code or Gemini CLI) to efficiently configure, customize, and automate data transformations and platform workflows. • Communicate technical findings to stakeholders and deliver field-based insights to the Engineering team to drive continuous product improvements.
