Work directly with purchasing, warehouse, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to understand operational issues and translate them into practical ECC solutions. Streamline procurement and warehouse processes by reducing manual work, eliminating unnecessary customizations, and leveraging SAP standard best practices. Begin building the path toward S/4HANA, including: Identify MM/IM/WM/QM simplification items and functional deltas Recommend clean‑core approaches and process harmonization opportunities Highlight where ECC technical debt and customizations will impact S/4 readiness Document processes, functional and technical designs, mapping documents, and test scenarios in clear, business‑friendly language. Collaborate closely with other SAP functional teams and developers; must have experience working with and managing contractors. What You Bring 10–15+ years hands‑on SAP experience with deep SAP ECC expertise in MM, IM, WM, and strong working knowledge of QM. Strong understanding of procurement, warehousing, inventory transactions, quality inspection integrations, and the related master data required to support these processes. Experience supporting operational teams in day‑to‑day purchasing, warehouse, and quality‑related activities, including the ability to walk through real operational scenarios and troubleshoot effectively. Ability to communicate with business users in clear, simple, jargon‑free language. Curiosity, strong problem‑solving skills, and a proactive mindset. Must‑Haves Must be hands‑on in ECC configuration across MM/IM/WM (not just oversight). Must be able to run workshops with purchasing, warehouse, and manufacturing teams. Must be able to analyze procurement, inventory, and warehouse process breakdowns and recommend SAP‑standard solutions. Must be able to document processes and functional specifications clearly and concisely. Must collaborate well with other architects, functional consultants, and technical teams.
