Role Description As a SharePoint Administrator - SharePoint & Project Server (AWS) at Gainwell, you will be responsible for administering, supporting, and maintaining enterprise SharePoint Server and Project Server (PWA) environments hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role supports both operational stability and strategic initiatives, including cloud hosting, platform optimization, and on-premises to AWS migrations. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, development, and PMO teams to ensure system availability, performance, security, and compliance with Gainwell infrastructure and operational standards. This role requires deep technical expertise in SharePoint, AWS infrastructure, networking, and enterprise platform administration. This role is strictly involved in platform administration, infrastructure support, and application configuration activities and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), or any secured or confidential client data. Your role in our mission includes: - Supporting SharePoint and Project Server platforms across build, migration, and operational support activities. - Installing, configuring, administering, and supporting SharePoint Server and Project Server / PWA environments hosted in AWS. - Managing SharePoint farms, site collections, web applications, content databases, service applications, and permissions. - Configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting SharePoint workflows, including Nintex, SharePoint Designer, and Power Automate. - Administering AWS infrastructure components supporting SharePoint environments, including EC2, RDS/SQL Server, VPC, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch. - Planning and executing on-premises to AWS migrations for SharePoint and Project Server environments. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to performance, availability, search, and service application configurations. - Managing enterprise networking components, including DNS, SSL certificates, firewalls, routing, and load balancers. - Ensuring systems meet security, patching, backup, recovery, and compliance requirements in alignment with Gainwell standards. - Maintaining operational documentation, procedures, and platform configurations. - Providing ongoing operational support and collaborating with infrastructure, security, and application teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in enterprise platform or collaboration system administration. - Strong hands-on experience administering SharePoint Server (2016/2019/Subscription Edition). - Experience with Project Server / Project Web App (PWA) configuration, administration, and support. - Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS/SQL Server, VPC, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch. - Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, routing, and load balancing. - Proven experience migrating SharePoint environments from on-premises to AWS. - Proficiency with PowerShell for SharePoint automation and administration. - Working knowledge of SQL Server administration in support of SharePoint databases. - Experience troubleshooting workflows and integration points within SharePoint environments. • Experienced ERM Administrator responsible for supporting the Lead ERM Administrator in the management of the Materials Management System (MMS), i.e. AVEVA ERM, including administration, configuration and support, in support of the end-to-end materials lifecycle management during project execution. • Act as a focal point for the MMS in the assigned scope/location. • Assist with providing guidance to regional focal points and delivery leads, ensuring consistent application without removing regional accountability.
